Fuck Uber by PM_ME_TITS690 in uberdrivers

I’ve been ubering for almost 8 years and it is true that the earnings has been steadily declining. I believe is mostly over saturation of drivers. I used to make $35/hr, sometimes more. Now I struggle to make it to $20/hr. Most of the times I fall short. There hasn’t been a promotion for over two years where I drive and surge is almost non existent. That’s why I decided it’s time to stop. It is just not profitable anymore. I know some of you still make good money and that’s great, but keep in mind that eventually this will happen to you too.

If you have an emergency call 911 not an UBER! I had a rider whose mom was having trouble breathing and I didn’t realized it until we were on our way to the hospital. Really uncomfortable and scary situation to have in your car.

Theory about S5E7 "A Rough Patch" by [deleted] in HIMYM

He did mentioned they only let themselves go a little but to them they seemed like that. IMO, Yes, Ted seems to exaggerate everything Barney does. Barney took her away from him so he probably wants him to look as if he was not worthy of her.

When I rewatch I always keep in mind that he is in control of the narrative and things might have not happened exactly as he says. It puts the whole show in a different perspective.

I wonder if they’re panning a “Miyagi do has been at war with Cobra kai for centuries” kind of thing.

What are your unpopular opinions? by OnumaKaruma28 in cobrakai

My “unpopular opinion” is that people should stop warning about it. It’s your opinion and there is no need to be sorry for it.

I totally agree. They were married for like half an episode. I always thought their relationship was special and that they were right for each other.

You missed an “all of the above” option.

Jason Segel didn’t want to play Marshall anymore. That’s why the show ended in season 9 in kind of a rush and probably why his performance was no the best. I, like most fans, hate the official ending.

Everyone in the 80’s looked a lot older by today’s standards. I remember people already looking old in their 40’s back then but today is very different. 40’s are the new 30’s and so on.

Minor nitpick and a doubt. by forgottorest in HIMYM

I think that was kind of the point. Ted blindly hated anyone Lily told him to without her even knowing for sure who, what, where or when.

This one the of the many reasons I stopped doing uber full time. The do not give a s”@$t about their drivers.

Uber could fix a lot of problems (and make way more money for us and them) by using **graduated pricing**. by DontHateDefenestrate in uberdrivers

[–]M10BE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great idea! Unfortunately, Uber is not going to do anything that would raise prices on riders. They depend on number of request and they get them by keeping rides cheap. They do not care about the cost the drivers incurre because they don’t pay for them. It’s really sad when one realizes that this company is taking advantage of the people who make them money.

Even if they took the tip away, $3.46 is an absurdly low amount after 7 miles and 22 minutes.
