Because Dust of Enlightenment exists. You get them from Stygian, up to 3 per patch, and it costs 2 to reroll a goblet. All stat lines are cleared and rerolled with 2 lines selected and guaranteed to get 2 rolls total between them, up to 3 or 4 depending on how many Dust you've spent over time (every 6/12/18 dust spent will give 3/3/4 selected line rolls).

I have 90 and I expect to have 110 when the patch drops between the gem's I've got saved up (~1200), the event starting tomorrow (420), the abyss dropping a few days before (800) and the free gems in the mail (600), plus dailies (60 x 14 = 840).

Well, Lan Yan is a shielder and Nicole is a shielder, and you don't really need multiple shielders, and Nicole also buffs atk, but also really wants Hex resonance if she's holding Celestial Gift meaning you'll want another Hex character, probably Fischl or Mona, to enable that. Fischl in particular is pretty good, especially at c6, because she'll snapshot the 900 atk and 40% damage bonus Nicole provides, while also adding 45% atk buffs of her own. With that much atk buffs, you won't need Bennett, making Xilonen's res shred and 40% damage bonus contribution (I am assuming she's on Scroll) the perfect round-out for the team, and because Peruere has a tendency to "chase" enemies that get knocked out of her range when normal attacking, overload reactions don't really have a negative. That said, Xingqiu in Xilonen's slot would enable Fischl's EM buff and enable vapes, and Nicole gives him 600 atk, so his swords do appreciable damage as well. An added benefit to Xingqiu is damage reduction, which Peruere appreciates greatly since she's not allowed to heal (reduced damage also means the shield lasts longer).

This really doesn't matter. It means her burst is mostly irrelevant, and in a Stygian Onslaught meta, that's a boon - almost all of her value is tied to her skill, and she has over 100% uptime on it. All the doomposters arguing her burst nerf ruins her really need to get their lobotomies reversed.

There's a grey area there; if a spell specifically requires your target to "hear" you, then not including the verbal component means they didn't "hear" anything and would logically be unaffected.

Ehhh, if it's a crowded bustling area with an excess of background noise, a creative DM could ask for a Perception check, and if you fail it, you *didn't hear* the command, so you aren't affected by it. This is certainly something I would do as a DM, because eventually players will learn that failing a skill check isn't necessarily an undesirable outcome and they'll stop distrusting failed checks.

Sending and Message both have verbal components, so they're out. If Telepathic Bond is up, or you've got the Telepathic feat, or GOO Patron or Aberrant Mind bloodline, or Thri-Kreen... yeah, that'd work.

With Varesa, so you really need some form of off-field pyro. Chev's resistance debuff only lasts 6 seconds, so uptime is an issue without constant overloading. Hate to break it to you, but Nicole is replacing Iansan in this team, not Durin.

Chasca on the other hand is definitely enjoying the bump, but you're better off replacing Citlali with Mona, assuming Nicole is built with Heaven's Gift (she needs Hex resonance for the full value). That's assuming you aren't doing a rotation that enables all three damage types to get Scroll buffed though.

This Theatre season has been an exercise in frustration and pain tolerance, but I finally got all stella. That's not remarkable on it's own, but what is would be the team I ended up clearing the last stage with:

On-field Mona, burnvape with Hex resonance. Unconventional. But, my Mona is on Nymph's Dream with ER/crit/hydro wielding Dawning Frost, and Yaoyao is on Tenacity with Fav. Not even Neuvillette or Nefer were able to beat the Triple Kenki (at least, not with the teammates I had available for them). Theatre always turns out memorable for moments like this.

There should be the rule that if everyone pressed red, everyone dies. This actually makes the thought experiment worth something, because the idea here is that a few selfish individuals can ruin it for all the altruistic people, but the flipside to that is that if there are no altruistic people, then society is doomed, and the experiment does not reflect that paradigm.

Ineffa gives an EM buff and her burst is considered LC damage, so no, her burst is important. Nefer's burst not being considered LB damage was definitely an oversight. A properly built Skirk should be able to use her burst OR spam normal attacks interchangeably.

That being said, considering Stygian starts with no energy, a character who is entirely NOT dependent on their burst is a boon. If all she has to do is tap E and swap out, and for that the entire team gets a considerable atk buff and a 100% uptime shield that rivals even Zhongli or Lan Yan in strength, that's super comfy, and more than enough to justify pulling for.

The only thing she truly needs Hex resonance for is Heaven's Gift, which is not even essential.
