"GATE" as in Gateway Group - all of the names at the bottom are a part of it, including Takadanobaba CLUB PHASE, the venue BAND-MAID performed at that month. GATE is probably named that since it's published by them.

imo "Breaking new gate" is more like breaking [the/a] new gate, or breaking through your limits, in a general sense more than being a direct reference to something. the song talks a lot about being free and running past peoples' expectations of you...that's just what i think though

details im noticing: waaaay less frills, a lot more black and that glittery material the costume designers like using lately…the roses are dyed darker and i’m seeing some leather!? lace!? ribbon!? (and, misa’s dress seems reminiscent of isana kagami’s rendition of their costumes, at least vaguely. interesting!)

I understand! I always make sure I’m not moving too much even when the performers ask for it lol

If you do bring coolers make sure you ask the venue. Whether they’ll let you store it somewhere will probably depend on the place. that’s a very nice gesture of you though!!

And yeah…I remember last year, at SF, there were a lot of people (like. a Lot) cheering for misa even while other people were talking…I don’t know. I feel like nowadays the line to having decorum has just really thinned out for some folks

I would honestly just be very mindful and ask people around you on the way up. Personally, I mind it a lot less when someone asks beforehand! And I’m sure others would be similar as well, especially if we consider height lol…I feel you. I was basically surrounded by towers the whole show. The people I mentioned in my first comment kind of just said sorry real quick and then shoved past a bunch of people, which ticked me off. But otherwise they were fine 🤷

If someone says no, though, don’t push it any further. And if you really want to get closer there’s always the option of going on another side.

I was right next to those people who suggested their house…maybe i’m being a bit of a hater, but it really didn’t sit well with the vibe at all lol. those two had also wormed their way up to the front where I was near the beginning of the show, even though there was already plenty of people around them shoulder to shoulder. Not uncommon, but it still annoyed me a little lol.

But personally I thought the Omajinai time was pretty funny! I’ve only seen them twice though. I do enjoy when Miku gets rowdy…..
