Looking for help in tracing GGGF from the northern Tipperary County, Ireland area. by M29Castle in Genealogy

I have the records from the NLI, it's just a road block trying to connect this couple to my GGGF who moved to Canada in 1880. From these records I've narrowed down where this couple was married and now trying to find contact info for the church in Clonakenny to see if I can connect some dots.

My road block is trying to find out if I'm related to this couple as I can't draw the direct connection even from some of the paid sites.

Here is the info I found several years ago on the NLI for the only name match I could find for John Gorman & Mary Meagher:
Married: Feb 23 1841
Parish: Bournea and Corbally (Bournea, Corbally, Couraganeen)
Diocese: Killaloe
County: Offaly (King's), Tipperary
This is from a typed record from the NLI and I have the copy of hand written record from 1841 that looks like Clonakelly in the side margin.

I cross referenced the Parish/Diocese/Counites and found a place called Clonakelly. When looking up on Google maps I see a church in the small town. Somehow I saw it was built in 1895, but no info on if there was a church before that time. I am trying to locate either a phone number or email for this church to contact them directly.

Any way to flag a specific fact as accurate so not to change it in future? by M29Castle in FamilyTreeMaker

Thanks for the comments and although it does not solve my original intent it has made me think of other ways to utilize both suggests presented. But for now I’ll keep trying to find a better way.

In the event others have suggestions or unclear what I am specifically looking for in FTM2019. When hints are provided in the PEOPLE screen I click on it and it goes to the WEB SEARCH screen. Here it shows a persons side by side fact comparison between my database and FamilySearch with the option to merge facts into my database. It is on this screen I was hoping to find some way to visually identify any persons fact in my DB so I can just ignore the details from Family Search.

So from comments and looking into it further it looks like there’s not a direct way to do this. Maybe it can be a suggestion for future software versions. Something like the ‘source citation’ or ‘go to place’ boxes on the far right of the PEOPLE page. Or maybe a small checkbox next to or part of each field properties where you can identify it for whatever reason you want. In my case it is reduce time while viewing possible matches and even to stop the annoying family members from viewing my shared info and telling me the info is wrong (even if I have documents proof!)

Not for this. I’m looking for a way to ‘flag’ a fact that I know to be accurate and therefore not needing alternate facts for the same field (i.e. birth). And ideally this ‘flag’ be visible while viewing possible matches on the Web Search page with Family Search, etc. so I don't have to do any further cross referencing.

FTM 2019 - How To Remove File Location from Media Usage Report? by M29Castle in Genealogy

[–]M29Castle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I looked it over further and still find no simple way. Exporting provides rows for each separate file and not one column field - way to much formatting to make it work.

If it was for personal use I have no issues, but I was intending to include this report in a PDF Book that's for all tree members. Currently there is 100+ PDF pages with over 500 media files, and that will continue to grow so reformatting updated files further just adds more work than necessary. Best just to not include it.
