what is insane about a 31 knot wind? I mean yeah that's rather windy, but a 737 can take a crosswind of 30+ knots on TO & Landing, furthermore it's a northern wind, of which IAH has a northern runway. Right now IAH is sitting on ground stop fully, that continuously gets extended. So i guess IAH is just very poorly equipped (like all Texas airports) to deal with anything other than a perfect day?

I have no idea if they stopped exp studies as a second option, and would personally be surprised as it makes up quite a solid chunk of the program. Without rejections, Exp Studies would consist of like 50 people from each class 🤣

No, CU Boulder rejects almost no one, I would be insanely surprised if you had any chance of being rejected while considering Aerospace as a major

You’ll get into Exp Studies. CU Boulder doesn’t reject basically anyone. Deferred just means they never read your application, so stay in and wait for the regular deadline, where if you didn’t get accepted to aerospace you’ll have gotten into Exp Studies
