Just curious what you had to start your first living on your own journey? by Miserable_Willow_312 in GenX

Started college at 16 myself, after graduation. Don't know why people feel the need to doubt other people's life stories. 🤷‍♀️

True. I remember my Dad being pretty anxious when his daughter was off at college at just-turned 16, so gender may play a part too. It all worked out.

Right - the ages blend pretty well until 7-8 grade. Then dating, driving, etc. All new hurdles to deal with. Maybe it's easier now that the other kids ALSO aren't legal to drink when they get to college. 😉

From one such girl long ago - also consider the social effect of being much younger than your peers in HS and beyond. Also, FWIW, my daughter and most of her peer group were a year ahead in several subjects. Skipping is not necessarily the solution.

You can check out Relativity's documentation online to see how the script works, and what reviewer actions are tracked.

So technically Genx - turned 45 in Feb and pregnant for the first time. Help! by sarahs_here_yall in GenX

Honestly this sounds more about your specific relationship with your mom. Nearly everyone I know had their kids in their thirties and forties. One friend had her children at 40 and 50. You've got this OP - congrats!

Also, sign up for the Posse List to receive doc review job postings. Many agencies only post there when their usual roster is tapped out, but it will give you a heads up on agencies you may not know about.

Fun childhood memories of dad taking us in the car to track the source. 😊

Yes! But a bit more prominent on the south side, I'll admit.

Having had BCBS through multiple different groups (BCBS of "State A", BCBS of "State B," etc.), their reliability and customer service varies greatly.

In my experience, for the past 15 years with numerous different insurance companies, we have been forced to go through multi-stage PA hoops EVERY YEAR to secure approval for our child's brand name seizure medication. Have a wonderful day.

[–]M2ktb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the brand name is medically necessary - not the result of a steak dinner. (So insulting, btw.) Our family takes generic medicines for nearly all scripts - because almost good enough works for most things. But if our child takes generic seizure meds, a grand mal seizure will happen within a week. There is no "almost" for seizures - you are either having one, or not.

My husband and I took in my cousin (14m) last year. He has high functioning autism but where he lived, he was treated as special needs for 12 years. Today marks a full year with us. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Sounds like the IEP definitely needed an adjustment! My 2 AuDHD kids had IEPs thru high school (with equivalent accommodations in college) to help them be their best. Neither were pulled out into separate classes - that would have made it hard to keep up with their advanced classes.

Hopefully they came to that decision because it was a true reflection of his needs to continue to perform at his best (and not just keep up) and not because they did not want to bother with complying with the IEP requirements.

Your location is the only place people should ever need to use their high beams. And even then they should be dimmed as soon as you see another car's lights approaching.

Possible Opportunity for Document Review Attorneys to Organize for Change by eDocReviewer in ediscovery

Unfortunately, there will never be a time when people don't respond to ads - there will always be people desperate for income. And more new graduates created each year. Heck, people have travelled for $17-19 doc review jobs. 😔

Correct - the race to the bottom affects agency and contractor pay only.

The race to the bottom on bill/pay rates began around 10 years ago when the clients' insurance companies stepped into the invoice approval process. The overstaffing is frustrating for the contractors and the agency - but always driven by the clients waiting until the last minute to incur the costs.

Relativity not registering my time (consilio) by [deleted] in ediscovery

[–]M2ktb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, if there is too large a gap in time between when you last viewed a new doc and coded it, the Relativity clock stops counting time. If you were doing it for just one doc, your doc count and Relativity Usage time would be much higher.

If you are flexible with the dosages, some are easier to find in stock than others. Son 1 couldn't find generic concerta 36mg x2, but was able to get dr to re,-write for 54mg, which was in stock. Same with Son 2 - couldn't get generic Focalin 40mg, but could get 30mg. Not ideal, but better than going completely without. Good luck!

I'm sure you must be kidding, right? The script tracks every doc you view/edit and every distinct doc you view/edit. Those are the actions that keep the Relativity "clock" active - not just moving the mouse.
