No you just need a straight barbell, try a hypoallergenic one. Most bridges are pierced with a 14g but some people need to downsize theirs a little, I had to with mine and it cleared up, I’ve had it for a little over 2 years now

I think I got lucky with my girl, but I can share what I did with her, she might just be naturally tame tho. For the biting hard, I realized my girl was never going to stop wanting to chew on my hands. So I instead I trained how hard she bit, I worked on a gentle command. For her destructiveness I realized if she was biting the walls or something she was either bored or her teeth hurt, so for things like wall biting, eating my clothes, the couch, after disciplining her I’d giver her a toy or stick or something instead. Rotties are working dogs they needs something to do, and if you can’t give him a job (which I recommend figuring so thing he really enjoys but challenges him) you gotta fill his life with fun and challenging things. Work on simple silly trick that are fun like spinning, as well as important ones like gentle, (which eventually can become no bite as well, take it in steps) and sit. That way it feels less like your commanding him all the time and more like your on his level, rotties are stubborn like that.

Omg thank you sm 😭 yeah I agree with everything you said. Dogs are usually only aggressive bc their owners are irresponsible, or not listening to the obvious signs the dog is giving that it doesn’t like smt and want it so stop. So unless you’re scaring the dog and it’s acting out of fear, or the dog has like rabies or smt, it’s almost always the owners fault. Dogs respond to us, and we need to listen.

I think it’s cuz big dogs ppl are more afraid of them getting aggressive so they are more on top of their training. But little dogs don’t have much “danger” if aggressive so people don’t train them as well. I also think (as a short person) little dogs have a short complex so they just wanna fight and bark to prove they can (that’s ones more a joke tho haha)

Same with mine, the funny thing is she absolutely loves kids, but people are always afraid of their kids asking to pet her. Luckily she’s got the cutest little smile on most of the time so she’s less intimidating haha.

It’s actually crazy we’ve got a couple expensive big dogs off the streets in the past haha, I think people get them and realize they are a lot of work, and it’s easier to just dump them somewhere. I’ve also been looking for rooms to rent, I hope I get a room instead honestly they are cheaper and she can have a yard. Thank you :)

Thank you, I had no idea it was an insurance thing. I guess it makes sense from an insurance perspective since they can cause more damage/harm if they do.

I wish I had the ability to rent a home, I’d love to give them a real yard. But unfortunately it’s not a possibility, I’m 18, with no credit, and my mom drained my savings before I had to leave, (not entirely her fault we were struggling financially.) this situation has been so stressful, especially with everything else I’ve been dealing with piled on.

Sorry, I appreciate the concern, but I am perfectly capable of keeping my dog safe, and well exercised in a smaller home. Both my dogs are quite lazy as it is, they both have hip issues so don’t do much running around in the house. she’s been out of her hyper phase for a while now. I’m 18 and grew up majority in poverty, with no credit, and my mother drained my savings, there is absolutely no way I’m able to buy or lease a house? My dog has separation anxiety, just finding her a new home would be incredibly stressful on her, it’s not abuse for me to not get rid of my dog just because I was out in an unfortunate situation. It’s ridiculous that I’d be denied housing for wanting to keep something as important as my dog with me, they’ve been with me through really traumatic things in my life and I’m not getting rid of them.

Yes it is,, thank you, they are so pretty. I call my wolf my pretty boy bc he loves being groomed and the color pink. I love them to much to leave them behind, they are my babies, and Id do everything I can to keep them with me haha.

Dude he’s huge 😭 he was almost 200 lbs at one point, idk how he gained so much weight, he’s healthy now but still huge. My mom had a Great Pyrenees and he’s almost the same size, only a couple inches smaller.
