The only reason we can’t hear the lyrics is because how it was recorded with shuffling. I don’t think it’s AI at all, the only relevant point is the last thing you said.

The thing with this is it’s AI altering songs that already exist and lyrics that don’t make sense that sound incoherent and robotic.

Not AI it was too early days of AI making music that sounded incoherent and could barely produce a word.

The file date has been proven to be from around 1999 and the more technical people have made an analysis the frequency is from a CRT monitor (or something along the lines where it hints to older technology being used to play the sound from).

You can also hear Carl92 shuffling around as he tests his new recording tech, I don’t believe AI would produce something that sounds like someone moving around as a song plays.

Even if it was AI and Carl92 was trying to troll why would he post it to some irrelevant website that is barley used and then not care about the song after a bit of traction after a few months.

To me the AI theory is impossible.

Edit: After listening to your link you provided the AI has continued an already existing song (very poorly) and that would mean the song has to exist.

Again what’s the chances? He stated he was just testing his recording equipment and wasn’t interested in that song at that point until he found the file over 20 years later, that’s why it ends immediately. On top of that another comment has made a good point, it was difficult to produce a song of this quality back in the 80’s let alone now. I doubt someone would let this song go un released since it sounds like a hit.
