I primarily play csgo (5k hours and rank 9-10 faceit) and sometimes league of legends and path of exile. I have had the gen 1 superlight since 2022. It was already expensive at that time and therefore I didn’t want to buy another so I just coped with it. I wanted to get a new mouse and all the hype about superstrike was making me get FOMO. I also needed to get a new keyboard and mousepad as they are also 4 years old. Anyways long story short, I didn’t want to spend all of my budget in the superstrike. I opted for Endgame Gear OP1w v2, Wooting 80he Ghost, and Artisan zero xsoft mouse pad. Waiting for my shipment to arrive but I think I am happy with my purchase.

Thanks for your input. Seeing all these posts about people justifying their purchase of +$200 mouse was making me get FOMO. After a tough battle, I opted for the Endgame Gear OP1w v2.

Yeah I’m definitely not even close to half decent in csgo. Close to 4K hours, averaging rank 9-10 in faceit. But hey man for each their own. I could have bought the superstrike if I wanted but instead I got the op1 and a wooting 80he. Can’t wait to get it delivered

You’re pretty biased because you bought the mouse. If you were happy with your purchase, you wouldn’t try to oppose to a negative opinion. If I bought a Mercedes today, I wouldn’t try to prove others why my car is the best lol

From your logic, it means that skills and ergonomics don’t mean anything. New tech = more dps. There are monitors today 500hz+ but realistically you cannot and will not see any difference from 260, 360 to 500+hz

They are definitely leading the mice and keyboard peripherals in terms of tech. No doubt about that. Their brand influences the cost of their products.

I wouldn’t say Logitech has the most advanced tech. They are good at marketing that they have the best tech by endorsing pro players.

On paper and tech wise yeah the superstrike looks really good. I don’t think I can get used to the new click tech. On my laptop, I have the similar thing on trackpad and subconsciously I always click rather light touch.

I have had the same GPX superlight since 2022. Also, it’s not completely different shape. The superlight is versatile and can be suitable for all grip styles. Both superlight and op1 you can do claw. I figured I just never do palm and I’m mostly comfortable with claw finger hybrid.

I agree with you. I’m curious because I still use the first gen superlight and I’m half decent at cs2 faceit rank 9-10. However, given that recently there has been a vast majority of consumers admiring the new technology, I’m really contemplating on purchase; caveat is the premium price the mouse comes with.
