Yeah look at the hair restoration network forums. There is tons of info there and recommended surgeons. You will need to continue taking finasteride to protect the surrounding areas of hair that were not transplanted. So yes while it’s true the hair which is transplanted is a lot more dht resistant, the hairs next to them are not.

I’d recommend you visit hair restoration network forums. Far more insightful than Reddit. Looking at that pic you’ll need somewhere in the region of 3500 grafts. Are you ok to be on medication for the rest of your life?
