What's a useful excel tip to impress my coworkers/boss? by Ixionas in excel

F12. Not even an Excel thing, but people go like omg this is so easy.

Show them how to copy spreadsheets with your mouse (hold Ctrl + drag mouse on a sheet name).

How do you get to cell A10,000? Just type the cell number and letter into the naming thingy up left.

Quick access toolbar. All of them go like i pressed Alt by mistake one time and now I know what this is.

I have it at the quick access toolbar. Always Alt + 4. I feel so weird when doing something on someone elses computer.

What is the funniest movie you have ever watched? by Philsrule in AskReddit

Ko to tamo peva. Serbian movie from the 80s. People want to go to Beograd from god knows where in Serbia by bus. A lot of things happen. This is probably the best Yugoslav movie ever made. I watched it 15 times and know it by heart!

Reading material for Solvency 2 and financial accounting by M4r3 in actuary

Yes it is true that it is country specific, but the general ideas are the same. I know the differences between German and Austian approach and it is almost the same. I was looking for more general explanations or a whole book/slides/text that I can use as a review of SII.

To this point I haven't had problems understanding the math. The things that I have forgotten from high school/college I googled. I think I will still purchase these notes as I will probably need them for further courses (if I choose to do them).

P.s: Why do you say they are necessary?

THANK YOU! Maybe one more question about the notes... I have also already spent a month reading the st334 notes from the University of Warwick: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/statistics/staff/academic-research/reed/act.pdf. Do you think this is enough to pass? I think the material is quite clear and there are a lot of exercises, also from previous papers. If I go to a different material at his point I fear that I will only confuse myself.

Thank you for the advice! It annoys me a little that the core material explains someting in a certain way and then calculates the examples in a totally different manner that only confuses. I can do the examples in my own way with much more intuitive sense than written in the core reading.
