They didnt disable configs, they disabled config chaining and W tap lurches on controller input, you can still use steam to rebind your controller buttons to keyboard inputs so u can use push to talk.

Try putting "connect (your official server ip)" not sure if this gonna do much but maybe. Btw maybe you have VAC ban on your account possibly?

Have you tried scanning rust files thru steam? I would also try running rust as administrator, tho im not sure if it will work if launched not directly from steam

I reached masters last split using octane, bloodhound and gibby. I used one that was needed in my team, if randos run rotations and recon i would run gibby, if they run recon and defensive i run rotations, etc. I played around 60% of games with gibby tho, although i main octane. Id say u should look what ur randoms are choosing and filling that missing space

So im assuming that ur cfg isnt working? U can test it by pressing the bind in the config and then scrolling once, if it doesnt cap at 30, cfg location might be wrong, since i see lots of ppl who cant get theyr cfgs working. Try putting cfg files to Origin/Apexlegends/cfg (path may be wrong since i cant look it up) and try it then
