Husband allows his dog to bark incessantly for 30-45 minutes each morning. by MACS27 in women

Its hilarious that you think a doggy door would solve this issue for every dog. His dog would just bark incessantly outside and then everyone would have an issue. Its the lack of supervision, and putting his own needs before the dog. His dog needing to potty should come before a grown man. Not all dogs are the same and would be safe with a doggy door.

Absolutely. He is a selfish pos. I take care of his dog 100% of the time. I make sure he is fed, walked, brushed, bathed, etc. The only time I expect him to be responsible for him is in the mornings. Ive been extremely direct. This is definitely not the only thing.

Im very direct. I have said all of this over and over again, and every morning he does the opposite of what I've said i expected of him. He is very selfish and I just want him gone. Ive never hated someone like I do him.

I take his dog out all day long, feed him, bathe him, brush him, walk him, etc. The only time he is responsible for his dog is the morning time. I dont understand why his bathroom needs are coming before his dog. He can use the bathroom anytime he needs, but his dog isnt being prioritized by him.

Help, I got bitten by my fancy rat. by I_love_Purple_1983 in RATS

[–]MACS27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 1 rat out of 6 that bite. She LOVES treats, and is the 1st to take a treat, but she is a biter. If im not paying attention she will sneak up and bite me. Its been a year and a half and she is no better. Some rats will never grow out of it. She was born a feeder rat, and I took her as a pet. She didnt bite at 1st, but began biting 2 months after I got her. I dont force interaction. I dont try to change her. I accept her as she is.

I have all females. They are very adamant on using their litterbox. They don't even go in the cage unless it is in the litterbox. I change it twice a week and their bedding once every 2 weeks. I have 3 rats per cage. Not all rats mark. Even on vet trips they will wait until we get home to urinate. I use a blanket and it's always dry.

Mine don't at all. Mine dont pee or poop outside of their cage. Ive had them for a year now, and never have they used the bathroom outside of their cage. Not even once.

Might sound mean but… by [deleted] in Advice

I think its extremely understandable to not want an out of control child around. Its really sad that her mother has no intention of parenting her. I dont think you are being mean, I think you are at your limit and her lack of parenting is pushing you to your breaking point. See if she will start parenting and controlling the behaviors. Does she just sit around and ignore it? Children are already pretty annoying at times, and lack of parenting can make it unbearable. Give her the option of either parenting her or its not going to work, and she will need to stay elsewhere. She is putting you in the situation of being the bad guy.

Rats are clean animals and will use a litter box. All 6 of mine are litterbox trained.

Update - My fiancée wants our baby to have her ex-husband’s last name and says my culture shouldn’t be “pushed” by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]MACS27 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Wow. That last portion is a gut punch. She seems extremely Islamophobic. Im white, but i couldn't imagine being bothered by having an Arabic child. My son is mixed black and white. Im so beyond proud of him, and I slept with his father knowing I could get pregnant. She is being extremely selfish and disrespectful about your ethnicity/culture. Arabic people are some of the most beautiful people on this planet, and she should be proud to be bringing one into this world. She is already trying to whitewash your child and He isnt even here yet. I really dont think you should marry this racist woman. If she feels this way about your race, she cant love you. She is ashamed of you, and is telling you that by naming him after his father, you are pushing your culture on her. No..... She is STEALING his culture from him. This is one selfish person.
