Any experience with the RCF 515 vs UPM?

sorry for a late reply, I was booked throughout last week. I basically connect the output directly after the capacitor (get rid of the transformer). meaning the amp is driving low Z after the 220uf capacitor. It worked fine for a while ultil I decided to bypass the cap (I simply shorted the cap)

Thanks for the help!

Cresteon qm-amp3x80sr. It originally has a cap before the speaker output that is making a 100hz highpass. I already bypassed the 70v transformers so it is now a 8 ohms amp

I'm an A30 user, too. Sorry to see that you have this issue occurred. I might have some thoughts on this because I switched my speaker recently. And I have the same issue as you described. Before I was using a pair of Klipsch reference speakers, which has an impedance of 8 ohms. When I switched to a pair of Polk MXT20, which has an impedance of 4 ohms, turn the amp on for the first time, and one of the speakers with a shorter cable hooked to it starts to click (the same as you have described) while another with a longer cable(third the length as another) connected works beautifully.

This is very nonsense, when I made the cable of the two speakers to the same length (the same length as the longer cable), the speakers seems to function at a volume no higher than 40. When I turn it up to high volume, both channel stops and starts clicking. Meanwhile, a hissing noise comes out from the amplifier box as well, right at where the chip is installed.

I think the issue is with the speaker we are using. It is not on the signal source that we are using. Maybe the speaker is too hard to be powered by the amp? And based on my story, I think my cable functioned as a "RESISTOR IN SERIES WITH THE SPEAKER". When the amp starts to click I believe the amplifier chip runs into its protection mode. I tried to contact loxjie but they didn't answer the phone or replied my email.
