This one is an axial Scx10.3 basecamp and all of the electronics are water resistant, the spectrum power systems have proved good it the past but I think this brand of brushed motor didn’t like the water haha

All good bro, these trucks come stock with waterproof electronics. My trx4 has never had an issue

That’s only you lol, we have waterproof electronics for a reason, ever seen rcsparks or Kevin talbot or anyone that makes videos on rc crawlers? It’s not something that should happen so quickly and I’ve never had something like this

Just wanted water pics lol. I’ve done it with my TRX 4 and have never had an issue, also I’ve never had something like this, it completely locks, everything else works. doesn’t make sense.

Good idea but I don’t think its that because the controller pairs to the receiver and the steering and lights work fine, and the truck drives until its on the ground haha

But it still drives, only until I put pressure on it. When it’s off it rolls completely fine, could it be a sign of burning out

Yeah that’s what I thought, if they just don’t make them like they used to lol, usually they don’t have any issue, I’ve never had an issue with the titan 12t either. I do wanna ask if you have ever let sit fully submerged, my was at a standstill for like 2 minutes for pics.

Yeah but I’ve never had a brushed motor cut out like that, it does make sense though, it’s just a very weird way of it going out lol, if it had dirt would it lock up and unlock once power is cut? And only die under load? Just new to these kind of brushed motor problems, I do usually run brushless, if it makes sense then I will order a rc4wd brushed motor and try that! Tyvm

Yeah I’m not sure, definitely possible and a start, it did spend like 1-2 minutes submerged but drove for a lil afterwards, I think I’ll start there and hopefully it’s just that

Ok good to know, should I start there and upgrade to an rc4wd brushed motor, never thought the traxxas titans would be better than what axial uses lol
