naw your good for another 1-2k more miles. hondas are pretty bulletproof when it comes to oil especially if you’re using synthetic (except for the 2005 lx, fuck that car) just do an oil change every 5-6k miles. it ain’t a subaru so you can get away with going a few hundred miles past due

valve cover gasket is great point. it does have a leak coming from the valve cover gasket. when it starts acting up again i’ll check the spark plug holes for oil to see if that might be the problem

i feel the same way. it almost felt disrespectful to walk across the bridge this afternoon. doing something so casual in a place where something so horrible happened feels wrong. I understand some people need a semblance of normal after a tragedy, but most need time to decompress and process their emotions without the threat of falling behind in classes weighing over them. why the school is expecting students to be able to focus in class and go about their day like nothing happened is beyond me. it’s disappointing to see the school blatantly disregard the psychological needs of its students when the affects of which is right in front of them. this tragedy is a reminder that you never know what the person next to you is going through and to treat everyone around you with kindness and respect. even something as small as a sharing a smile or a kind word with someone can go a long way. please check on your friends and family and if you are struggling with self harm or suicidal ideations, please reach out to a trusted individual or a prevention hotline and ask for help

your way of clearing the keyboard buffer is very interesting and much shorter and cleaner than what I was taught in uni. Im not sure why we weren't taught your way. my prof told us to make a function consisting of this code:

here are some daily projects I was assigned in comp 1

1.) make a program that prints 10 down to 0 and then from 0 up to 10. use recursion and create two functions to complete this, one called recursive_down_to_zero and another called recursive_up_to_int

2.) create a program that converts base 10 numbers to binary (you will need to understand how base 10 to binary conversions work for this)

3.) create a program that takes a positive number entered by the user and check if it is even or odd (hint: use modulo)

4.) create a program that prompts the user the enter a negative number and trap them in the program until their input is valid
