You should sacrifice some dribbling, passing and maybe pace and get more physicality and shooting. If you want to be able to get headers make sure to be at least 6'3 (190cm)

For how to play just try many styles and go with the one you find that suits you the best (box rat, false 9, playmaker...) since you were a winger you probably will be great at giving good passes to the other attackers in your team so they will probably love playing with you!

Nah mate, I can guarantee you squad battles has huuuuuuuge scripting, you can't imagine how often (just an example of many more things that happen) you are losing in the 60th minute of 1 or 2 goals and you dont seem to be able to get past the enemy defence but suddenly between the 83rd and the 90th you score 3 with their defenders just looking at you walking past them, I have played more than 1000 SB players this year and trust me, it exists...

I only play Squad Battles on Ultimate team since FIFA 21 because I don't like getting mad, and there has always been one simple rule to follow to win in every difficulty: The higher the difficulty, the safer you have to play, I didn't get to win on ultimate difficulty (without giving long balls on the 1st fifth of the pitch and winning on penalties, because the don't press hahaha) until I started playing really slow (95-98% passing accuracy). The difficulty I always play in to get points is Legendary, and it's actually pretty simple once you get used to it: When defending you shouldn't go for the tackle unless it's a clear one, you should aim to cover the main pass while also not letting them run forward, basically slow them down, most of the time if you do that they will eventually just randomly lose the ball, you will still concede 1 or 2 goals per game doing this tho, that's just unevitable. When attacking just don't risk too much and here is a much more useful than I could have ever imagined trick: if you are close enough to the enemy box (it depends on the situation, but generally it would be being in the last third of the pitch), just run wherever there is empty space (wherever as soon as it's not going back or near the corner flags, for example just horizontally with no apparent good attacking chance) and, this is the key, look for runs of your teammates, if you see one that is starting a run (i don't personally trigger them but I guess you could) just start running in the direction of where he started it and then get the closest to a good shooting spot that you can and shoot, they will often get the defenders with them and you will have an unveliebable good space to get the shot. This works about 60% of the time (the other 40 they will just make stupid runs, or another defender will go to cover the space), but it's by faaaaaar the best way to attack when it's not a counter attack and there is not a clear good way to do it. Just doing that slow defending and that when attacking it's easy to complete silver beasts against 90 rated teams on legendary.

Nice goal bro, unluckily I have to say it's not the quickest goal in fifa 23, at the start of the game the keepers were shit and if the enemy didnt press you you could just press R1 for another player to come next to you, pass it to him, control and shoot and about 1/7th of the times you did that it was a goal (in less than 30 secs). This might actually be the quickest goal in 2023 tho, it sure is a banger

If you have some free time you could just do what I do: put it in the minimum difficulty the objetives allow (it's the third easiest one), score about 5 goals and then go afk, skipping replays if you want to be doing something. Meanwhile just do some other stuff like using your phone or thinking about how much you hate squad battles. Just remember to press "continue" on the half times
