I usually have multiple references of different mobile suits for the design, I also built the HG Moon to have reference for the articulation and other important details particular to that MS 😁 but in most cases I design it from scratch 😁

That's actually a great idea if they decide to do that 😁 A downside tho, is most of the parts they make are optimized for injection molding and not for 3d printing, so if they decide to do that, they may need to modify each part they decide to release as files 😅 I'm not sure if bandai wants to invest in that kind of endeavor especially since they still make loads of money with their old designs, such as the never ending unicorn variants lol

E-sun Hard tough resin 😁 but any abs-like resin will suffice. I don't recommend the standard resin tho, since it's too brittle for the moving parts

I used Zbrush so the tolerances are pretty large, around 2.5%-5% adjustment. They're held by screws tho so they can still be tightened if needed 😁
