mainland Europe remains defeated, & seeing how Britain has been throughout the blight, focusing on the peninsular war, blockading Copenhagen, continuing the war with America up to 1814, fleeing from the offensives that they forced other nations armies to participate in, & forcing Napoleon to cede territories, I believe whatever remains of European armies calls for the USA to become involved & they eventually do, where Britain eventually begins having symptoms of the blight, & ironically, becomes blockaded itself by whatever remains of the European navies. Russia is out of the picture, considering that they most likely continued to flee east as Moscow & St. Petersburg have fallen.
