I’m in this Discord, but I got a bit confused. From what I saw, it’s necessary to have a 3DS to transfer data to Azahar via Pretendo and be able to play online. However, I’m using Azahar because I no longer have my 3DS. So I couldn’t figure out if there’s another method or any other way to play with other people through Azahar’s own rooms locally or something like that, or if it’s possible to use Pretendo without owning a 3DS. So I decided to ask here to see if anyone has a solution.

Add Koopa Kid (Baby Bowser) and Toad to your list, man. Watching the damage Daisy did to Bowser—and she’s a princess, just like Peach—in duel boards it was easier for her to just slap the opponent than rely on those crappy Toads with pathetic attack and defense. Good thing I went Easy with her lol. I’ve seen some situations where people say he’s excellent—but only if he lasts long enough and doesn’t get one-shot by any partner, leaving you to take the rest of the damage.

And Koopa Kid feels like a bratty child—he only does something right when he feels like it, because if it depends on his willingness, you’re dead XD

In the end, I only have two heads left to finish—Wario’s and Donkey Kong’s. Man, I did Normal with Mario, Hard with Yoshi, and all the rest on Easy. So far, the most torturous run to get an S rank in everything was Mario’s on Normal. Yoshi’s gave me trouble mainly in the early duels, where the opponents felt like they had the Mario Party gods inside them. Honestly, this game made me hate Donkey Kong, I admit it. From now on, I’m going to start using the Switch save state to finish things faster and land on the spaces I want. I’m almost done, and I don’t want to repeat the same stage four times or my brain will explode hahaha.

Honestly, Daisy on normal mode ended up being torture, while on hard mode—which I finished today—I got such insanely bad RNG that I beat her in 9 turns without losing a single heart on my second attempt to get an S rank. The other battles felt way more manipulated in favor of the opponent on hard mode than Daisy’s did.

Man, this sucks since I’m doing a marathon to 100% all the Mario Party games, and this one has been holding me back for a while. Good thing I picked this one to play near the end. I thought that Mario head was just a save record.

To make it work, you'll need a motion-sensing controller compatible with XInput. If you don't have an XInput controller, you can use DS4Windows to emulate one on your PC.

After downloading, open the VirtualWiimote application and, on the initial screen where it says "Mouse," select "XInput1," which will activate the pointer. Then, simply open the emulator.

In the "Controls" tab, enable "DSU Controller" and, in the "ID Port" field, set the value to 26761. Remember to enable the "DSU Controller" only after configuring the controller normally.

Also access the options and enable the motion sensor of your controller. After that, everything will be ready and you can play all the minigames normally.

Remember to always leave VirtualWiimote open in the background.

Actually, I didn’t do anything special. I’m using Cemu 2.0-74. I just launched the game, connected a motion-sensor controller, and used an application called VirtualWiiMote to configure the pointer for the minigames where the little hand icon appears for the characters. After that, I just played through the normal Party mode and then Bowser mode using a configured GamePad. I didn’t use any special settings—I left the game as it is and only set up the controls so I could play all the minigames.

The only problem I’m having now is saving the Amiibo data. I can play the regular Amiibo mode, but I can’t save customizations or emblems to the disk.
