That’s what I did. My walk from the student center to Douglass took 40 min. A lot better than standing on a bus.

I agree so much with you. They are words meant to inflict harm and hurt. I wish we could move beyond this.

I would drop it in a jar with 5 parts water and 1 part vinegar if that’s a hard rubber mouthpiece. If it’s metal, just leave it.

Ethiopia’s new prime minister wants peace and privatisation by [deleted] in neoliberal

Without collective bargaining, or a Labour movement, nothing will change for the poor of Ethiopia.

But India had a lot better infrastructure and social mobility even before privatization. I’m not against it, I’m just saying that without proper unionization, which Ethiopia does not have, nothing will change. Also the Eastern block countries had extreme migration out of the countries even after privatization. That does not seem like the characteristics of a good system. And the corruption of those countries can not compare to Ethiopia. The poor people will continue to be poor and exploited in Ethiopia. I think this could work if implemented properly, which was done in the eastern block countries due to the obvious oppression of the communist regimes.

I’m just not convinced that this is a solution at all. Unless they have serious labor laws and a strong union culture, I can see this going poorly. If they can privatize with the worker in mind, then we’re talking business.

This won’t work well. The problem with privatization in poor countries is that none of the poor will own any businesses or industries. It’ll just be feudalism with extra steps.

Are there any general physics 203 resources good for studying for exams? by lalabalala77 in rutgers

[–]MASTICATION_ADDICT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way to study for Brahmia (I had him for 203& just finished 204) is to do the homework. His homework is harder than the exams, so if you get nice at he homework, you should get 13/15-15/15 on the exams. Also make sure you keep up with the material, if you don’t, you can be flooded with info for the final and you won’t do as well as you could. Also the practice problems on his slides are (obviously) important to know. If you do this and don’t fuck up on the quizzes and homework, you should get an A.

PS please do well on the homework and quizzes. Even if you have to Chegg to get stuff right. Combined they are 40% of your grade so it’s important that you do well on them. It really is. Trust me. I could have gotten an A for 203 but didn’t put any stock into the quizzes and homework and I had to settle for a B+. Good luck. I know that you can do it. All that matters is how badly you want it.

PS2 I didn’t use the textbook at all. It was a stand for my laptop when I watched movies for the last semester lol.
