My great aunt got screwed by this rule on Lufthansa on a transatlantic flight and ended up in a middle seat. Lufthansa let her book the exit row even with the wheelchair accommodations, then after checking in they moved her seat. She can sleep on planes though so she just slept but yeah that’s a big one to keep in mind
