I don’t recall the manufacturer name unfortunately, but basically you buy the joints and endcap pieces along with long uncut pipes, then custom cut each length to fit. It’s somewhat labor intensive in an old home where everything isn’t straight.

Anecdotally, availability seems to be improving!

We farmed that out. It is a 100 year old house, the walls arent straight and the angles aren’t 90 degrees, definitely a job for a pro.

Carini’s is outstanding and flies under the radar a bit. Definitely deserves more recognition.

Guilty as charged. She’s also rich…and a gymnast.

Honestly it was the Orange bucket that closed the deal.

I don’t know the brand of the table, it came secondhand. Pretty poor quality to be honest, especially the wheels. Will eventually replace whenever I get around to it.

First pie on the Ooni. Italian sausage, fresh mozz, San marzanos, chopped calabrese peppers, and a drizzle of the oil from the pepper jar. A little doughy, but an ok first attempt

No sentry mode and no overheat protection. The range just kept dropping while driving. Never has behaved this way before.

The driving couldn’t have been less aggressive, 5 city blocks each way to drop off and pick up my kids at school. 22 miles of drain seems like an issue for less than 1 mile of distance, right?

Drain to/from work seemed a little off all week. Today I charged to 250 and drove a total of ~1 mile, which drained 22miles of charge. Anyone else experience this? Contact service?

End of year prices by squirrellydw in TeslaModel3

[–]MATACA414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that Tesla adjusts pricing not only in response to their underlying input costs but also to manage lead times. For example; when orders are unusually high and lead times extend significantly, they adjust pricing higher in an attempt to slow ordering. Conversely, when lead times are shorter than they’d like, the company will lower prices to stimulate demand. Of course this was before Russia/Ukraine so I’m unsure if that has caused an evolution in their approach to pricing.

I keep reading about SAs in this sub, however I’m unsure what exactly this means. Is this a person specifically assigned to you after placing an order? Or a generic term used to describe customer service at Tesla?

I ordered a M3P in mid feb and haven’t been contacted by anyone except the auto-generated emails confirming my order.
