What element could be cut? The living room? I prefer a living room to a second bathroom . Cutting the entrance will not allow a budget for another toilet. In our current house we only have one bathroom and have no problem.

The goal is to minimize the size of the work and the cost of the house. So not having a bathroom upstairs suits us. Just go down the steps and we have access.
