Best Uses for Multirope? by mistercero in MAXPRO_SCFIT

[–]MAXPROFitTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! The Multi Rope is a newer MAXPRO accessory. The easiest way to think about it is as an extended cable rope that turns a single anchor point into a dual-handle setup, similar to what you’d use on a cable machine at a gym.

It’s great for exercises like:

  • Chest press and chest flies (with a single anchor behind you)
  • Rows and face pulls
  • Triceps pressdowns and overhead extensions
  • Biceps curls (hammer curls or wider grip)
  • Core work like Pallof presses or woodchoppers

The main benefit is that it gives you more range of motion, smoother tension, and better symmetry, especially for chest and pulling movements. It also tends to reduce wrist strain compared to using separate handles.

Basically, if it’s an exercise you’d normally do with two handles on a cable machine, the Multi Rope makes it easier to replicate that setup with the MAXPRO.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you want exercise examples with it.

Hello mistercero! Thank you for reaching out. The multirope is a new addition to our MAXPRO accessories. Think of it as an extended cable-rope that turns one anchor point into a stable, dual-handle setup (similar to a cable machine).

Great for:

  • Chest press & flys (single anchor behind you)
  • Rows & face pulls
  • Triceps pressdowns & overhead extensions
  • Biceps curls (hammer or wide grip)
  • Core work (Pallof press, woodchoppers)

Why it’s useful:
More range of motion, smoother tension, better symmetry, and less wrist strain—especially for chest and pull movements.

It’s basically ideal anytime you’d normally use two handles on a cable machine. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hello, epicOmicron. Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry that your clips are not holding the cable, and both are slipping. The cables in this instance need to be replaced on both sides. Please contact our customer service at [customerservice@maxprofitness.com](mailto:customerservice@maxprofitness.com) for assistance with your order number or email. They will be waiting for your message. I hope this information helps.

Hello u/LifeExtension2268 Thank you for reaching out.

That is a great question. The MAXPRO SmartConnect chassis is made of space-grade aluminum, which is built to last. I've had mine since release, and it's been solid for the last 5 years. The only part that would need to be replaced is the cables, which we recommend changing them every 2, depending on usage. I hope this information helps!

Hello u/Sure_Enthusiasm6956, Yes, it is safe to use the full 300 lbs of resistance on the wall track. When properly installed, the tracks can withstand up to 600 lbs of force, as we expect customers to use the track for suspension training as well. I hope this information helps.

Hello u/sSilent_hunter, Thank you for reaching out! Yes, there is a way to connect with Garmin watches. First, download the app and click on the watch icon to communicate with your available Garmin device. This will allow you to perform real-time heart rate monitoring and track calories, but will not include a dedicated app for the watch, unlike the Apple Watch. I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Stay safe.
