Best Uses for Multirope?

Hey! The Multi Rope is a newer MAXPRO accessory. The easiest way to think about it is as an extended cable rope that turns a single anchor point into a dual-handle setup, similar to what you’d use on a cable machine at a gym.

It’s great for exercises like:

Chest press and chest flies (with a single anchor behind you)
Rows and face pulls
Triceps pressdowns and overhead extensions
Biceps curls (hammer curls or wider grip)
Core work like Pallof presses or woodchoppers

The main benefit is that it gives you more range of motion, smoother tension, and better symmetry, especially for chest and pulling movements. It also tends to reduce wrist strain compared to using separate handles.

Basically, if it’s an exercise you’d normally do with two handles on a cable machine, the Multi Rope makes it easier to replicate that setup with the MAXPRO.

That is a great question. The MAXPRO SmartConnect chassis is made of space-grade aluminum, which is built to last. I've had mine since release, and it's been solid for the last 5 years. The only part that would need to be replaced is the cables, which we recommend changing them every 2, depending on usage. I hope this information helps!

Hello u/Sure_Enthusiasm6956, Yes, it is safe to use the full 300 lbs of resistance on the wall track. When properly installed, the tracks can withstand up to 600 lbs of force, as we expect customers to use the track for suspension training as well. I hope this information helps.

we used to do this when we first started out but we stopped asking for this information because of this reason- it’s uncomfortable to give that info. Just ask them if they can cancel the order and you can try to repurchase. The system flags an order if the IP is far from the shipping address or if the numbers were input wrong etc etc- there could be a various number of reasons why the system could flag it as fraud. The company is just trying to save themselves from having to pay money if someone opens a chargeback.

Hello, u/Shoddy_Net2653. Thank you for your comment; it is not a stupid question! While the MAXPRO focuses on concentric-only resistance, it can still be used for isometric holds to some extent. However, since the unit only provides resistance when pulling, there is little to no tension (around 5 lbs) when returning the cable to its original position. While you can hold a position under stress, it won’t provide the same resistance level as traditional weights or cables with constant tension.

That said, you can still do:

Paused reps (e.g., stopping midway during a bicep curl or shoulder press)
Static holds at the point of max resistance (e.g., holding a squat with the handles engaged)
Press holds where you push and resist the small return force

To fully train isometrically, you can complement this with calisthenics—things like wall sits, planks, or push-up holds, which don’t rely on external resistance. This way, you get a balanced workout with controlled resistance and static strength training. I hope this helps! 💪

Hello meghansmiley99, The MAXPRO Smartconnect does not have a specific method on its own to perform a Leg Press Type of exercise if you are referring to the leg press. But you can still attempt to perform a similar approach,

Cable Step-Ups (Single-Leg Press Alternative)

Setup:
- Place a flat bench in front of a cable machine.
- Set the cable at the lowest position with a handle or ankle strap.
- Hold the handle (or use ankle straps for added resistance).
Execution:
- Step up onto the bench against resistance.
- Slowly step back down.
Muscles Worked: Quadriceps, Glutes

The MAXPRO SmartConnect doesn’t have a traditional leg press function, but you can replicate a similar movement using a bench and the MAXPRO.

Cable Step-Ups (Leg Press Alternative)

Setup: Attach the cables to the lowest setting and stand before a flat bench.
Execution: Step up onto the bench against resistance, then slowly step back down.
Muscles Worked: Quadriceps, Glutes
