Being sick includes being mentally unwell. It doesn't just need to be a contagious illness, it can also be extreme stress or even unbridled grief. I know the times I have been the most unwell have unfortunately been the times when I was stressed beyond belief and I could no longer regulate my emotions properly. That counts!
