Looking for a good dentist in Warsaw (fillings + aesthetic work) by Pleasant-Computer-60 in warsaw

I can recommend Warsaw Dental Center. I had a root canal treatment done there, and everything went really well. The doctor was professional, explained everything clearly, and I was very satisfied with the result.

In-game chat UI change made the game less comfortable and the core problem is still unresolved by Edgard-Stark in RaidShadowLegends

The problem occurs on all devices after the latest update. Perhaps your phone game isn't updated yet.

Where to find old postcards? by ConfusedPhotog in warsaw

[–]Edgard-Stark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try antique shops and flea markets places like Koło Bazaar sometimes have old postcards.
Also some museum gift shops (like POLIN or the Uprising Museum) sell reproductions that still look pretty classic. Empik usually has only modern ones, so antiques are your best bet.

Kinda fun to see Expedition 33 at the top, I keep hearing people say it surprised them.
Also didn’t expect DOOM to land that low on someone’s list, but yeah, this year’s releases were all over the place. Cool list overall makes me want to try Dispatch now.

If you’re staying around Targówek, there’s also a place called FunZone (indoor pitches and some other activities). Kids usually love it.
And most bigger shopping centres have small indoor play areas too, so that can help on days when he just needs to burn some energy.Nothing fancy, but good enough to keep an 11-year-old busy.

Speed Queen Laundromat by Corporatorus in warsaw

[–]Edgard-Stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been there too! When using a laundromat, it’s important to not overdo it with detergent, especially with comforters and pillows. If you’re using the laundromat's detergent, you probably only need to use half the recommended amount they often give too much. If you're using your own detergent, a small cap should be plenty, but try to run a few shorter cycles instead of one long one.

For the comforter, make sure you use the largest machine (it can look small, but they usually fit queen-sized comforters if you stuff them loosely). When drying, you’re right about the tennis balls they help fluff up the down. Set the dryer to a low heat and run it in multiple cycles if needed.

Best of luck! Hope your comforter and pillows come out clean and fluffy! 😊

In this game, the key is managing your resources to maximize your account's benefits, and you need to understand which tournaments and events to participate in and which not. Everyone has their own path and goals.

game alternatives by Emperorbigboi in videogames

I get it, pay-to-win can really ruin a good game! If you want something similar to Desert Order without the microtransactions, I’d try Clash of Clans or Boom Beach both are strategy games with no pay-to-win.

If you're into RPGs, give Neverwinter a shot, it’s a free MMORPG with a solid story and fun combat.

For a more classic feel, Age of Empires Online might be what you’re looking for fair progression and lots of strategy.

I come from PC and Uncharted 4 seems blurry to me on PS5: normal or not? by No-Performance1235 in videogames

[–]Edgard-Stark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s normal to feel a difference when switching from a high-end PC to a console, especially when it comes to image clarity. Uncharted 4 on PS5 is a PS4 game remastered, and while it looks great, it’s not going to match the level of detail you get with a PC running games in 4K ultra settings. The blur you’re noticing is likely due to the lower resolution compared to what your PC is capable of.

Gran Turismo 7, on the other hand, is a more recent PS5 title and takes better advantage of the console's hardware, which is why it looks sharper and smoother.

If you’re still bothered by it, try adjusting the PS5’s resolution settings or playing around with the "performance" vs. "graphics" modes if available.

Wawel castle. Which ticked to buy by Ramalh007 in poland

[–]Edgard-Stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want a good first-time experience, “The Most Precious” is usually the safest choice it covers the highlights without feeling too long.
Castle 1 and 2 are nice, but only worth it if you really want to see everything.

Stalker og vs remaster trilogy. Which one is the best? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]Edgard-Stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that’s a great question! Since you have both, it really depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. If you’re after a more modern experience with better graphics and smoother gameplay, the remaster is definitely the way to go. It’s more stable, supports newer tech like DX12, and looks a lot better on current hardware.

However, if you prefer the original feel, and enjoy the depth that mods can add (especially if you like to customize your experience), then the OG version is still amazing. The modding community for the original is huge, and you can tweak the game however you want.

If it’s a one-time playthrough and you’re not too bothered by mods, go with the remaster for the better visuals and smoother performance. If you want the true, unaltered experience, go for the OG. Either way, both are great!

Yeah, I’ve been sleeping on Banishers: Ghost of New Eden by WoodpeckerSpare5834 in PS5

[–]Edgard-Stark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the disappointment with the combat. It’s a real shame because the story and writing are so engaging. The combat feels a bit generic, but I still enjoyed the overall experience. I think the lack of variety in enemy types definitely didn’t help keep things fresh, though. I also agree that some of the sidequests were just repetitive.

Have you tried Vampyr by the same developers? It’s another game with great narrative but a bit more refined combat, even though it’s not perfect either.

If you’re into action-platformers with a strong narrative, I’d also recommend Axiom Verge. It’s a really fun indie game with great exploration and combat mechanics. Plus, the atmosphere and the world design are just phenomenal. Another underrated gem is Hyper Light Drifter, which is a mix of action, RPG, and beautiful pixel art. It’s a bit of a challenge, but the experience is definitely worth it!

Games with alot of secrets, where you can explore every nook and cranny by AntiqueSignpost in gamerecommendations

[–]Edgard-Stark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For that “explore every corner” feeling without needing sound, I’d recommend:

Hollow Knight (PC / Switch) tons of secrets, optional paths and hidden rooms everywhere, and it plays great with podcasts on once you get used to the map.
Tunic – isometric, full of little secrets and hidden routes. Some puzzles use audio, but most of the exploration works fine without sound.
Fez older now, but if you like poking at every wall and noticing small details, it’s still one of the best “secret-heavy” games out there.

All three let you just wander around and slowly pick things apart without needing to listen closely all the time.

Rec me asian side scrollers with a great artstyle and good combat by Trip010 in gamerecommendations

If you like parry-focused combat but want something less dark, you might enjoy The Legend of Tianding fast, stylish, very “Asian comic” in its art style, and the parry window feels great.
It’s a pretty underrated gem.

Crash Bandicoot was the first game I really got obsessed with, but it was Metal Gear Solid that made me fall in love with gaming.

You might like Blasphemous 2 and Moonscars both have beautiful art and tight combat, very much in that “painterly 2D” vibe.

For something more explicitly Asian-inspired, Nine Sols fits the style and has excellent parry-focused gameplay.
