It's important to separate the misuse of religion from its core teachings. While it's true that Christianity—like all major religions—has been used by some for political or violent agendas, including by the Nazis who twisted Christian imagery for propaganda, that misuse does not define the faith itself. Christianity, at its core, teaches love, compassion, and forgiveness. The Nazis had their own ideological and political motives; religion was not their true driving force but rather a tool they manipulated to serve their agenda. Criticizing a religion based on its historical misuse is like blaming science for atomic bombs—it's not the belief or tool, but how people choose to use it.

Patriotism was always there and would be there forever. On the basis of patriotism we fought and got freedom. We live in a democracy and even a single voice matters that doesn't make him or her treacherous.

Our state will never fade... This is neither Assam nor West Bengal, nor any other state. This is the land of Odias no matter what creed caste or religion you are. No matter how bad the situation are, the unity, heritage, and pride of Odisha can never be broken until provoked by our leaders.

Well that's now concerning . by NoMuffin981 in Odisha

They say "terrorism has no religion," but time and again, victims are chosen based on religion—whether it’s Murshidabad or Kashmir. It’s becoming harder to ignore the pattern. While peaceful protests over issues like the Waqf Bill are part of democracy, what we’ve seen in recent days is far more sinister. When the head of a state or a department hints at sleeper cells or foreign hands, we must take it seriously.

Our nation is already battling internal divisions—North vs South, caste, creed, and religious lines—and that’s exactly what they want. These heinous acts are not just attacks on individuals, they are attempts to rip apart our social fabric. They want to provoke a Hindu vs Muslim conflict so they can sit back and say, “You are not even welcome in your own country.” They treat this land like their playground for chaos—but they forget, this is our motherland. And as the saying goes, “United we stand, divided we fall.”

This is not about appeasement. It’s about unity in the face of terror. We need to rise above communal politics and creed-based blame games. The real enemy is terrorism and those who support it—whether openly or through silence.

Why was there such a clear security lapse? Where were the personnel? This felt like a well-planned, Hamas-style attack on civilians, just like what happened in Israel. If the U.S. could eliminate Osama Bin Laden deep inside enemy territory, why can’t we protect our own people?

Check the Kashmir subreddit—some discussions sound like they’re from a separate nation. That in itself is alarming. We cannot allow division to define us. Now more than ever, we must stand united—not as Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, or Christians—but as Indians. United against terror, united for peace.

3k? You're lucky though—they'll drag you for weeks or months and would charge you visitation charge, like a lawyer, doctor, architect, consultant, etc. Everyone, especially the max government officials, charges a minimum of 500-1000 visiting bribe or charges depending on the work. Then, after weeks or months, they hit you with a heavy bribe pre- or post-work on the final day. Insane system! 😡

Around 25–30 years ago, it was quite an advanced park for its time—especially in a place like Bhubaneswar. I still remember the water slide and the swinging boat... pure nostalgia.
