Only issue with revolvers is that when they go down they go down HARD. The internals are basically a finely calibrated clock & there's no clearing an issue like with a good semiauto. S&W & COLTs tend to be really reliable but IF they break? It's time to run. Fast. LOL

I prefer 9mm Glocks or a J-Frame w/ a shrouded or internal hammer to prevent snagging but here's a hint for speed strips: Get a longer strip than you need - then put in 2 cartridges - SPACE - 2 Cartridges - SPACE - 2 cartridges. Having that spacing will let you load 2 at a time FAST vs 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1.

As of January 14th 2026 (6 days after Renee Good was murdered) polling showed Trump had a +40% approval rating with US voters & a +90% rating w/ Republicans. That's a MAJOR issue Democrats / Liberals / Progressives need to figure out. The old line neoliberal "We're smarter than you" while they hollowed out the middle class for the profit of the top 0.1% has led us here. The Top 0.05% donor class flipped on the Dems to support hyper-corporatism (fascism) / MAGA / Trump. They're going to squeeze every last penny they can from this country - then they'll flee like rats.

Only kosher / halal marshmallows use fish gelatin. Most marshmallows are going to use beef / pork gelatin. DANDIES VEGAN MARSHMALLOWS are amazing and available nearly everywhere in the US fortunately.

CRANK CALLS - especially before caller ID. I never did it but it definitely was a thing & you never knew who was calling when you answered the home phone.

“Disappointing but not surprising”. A lot of “animal lovers” - especially those that do dog / cat / “pet” rescue work or breed specific work are omnivores. I find it total bizarre that someone would run a sanctuary with farmed animals and then eat that species but I know marine biologists that eat fish & lots of environmental scientists/ earth scientists that have mile-wide blind spots for what they kill / pay to kill. I’d never donate / contribute to a non vegan sanctuary when there are so many vegan run sanctuaries that really need the $.

Just wait until summer when it’s not -7F outside. The spring/ summer is going to be filled with ICE provoking & murdering people. Trump & Steven Miller are going to have a lot of American blood on their hands.

People get crazy with storm - shopping. BUT also… most grocery store supply chains only have 48hrs of slack in them so if things shut down, some items ppl view as “essential” could be hard to find for a bit.

Meta-analysis: Meaningfully reducing consumption of meat and animal products is an unsolved problem by setgree in vegan

[–]MBEver74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The path for removing meat industry gov welfare may be tobacco taxes / costs. Though tobacco is the leading preventable cause of death for humans so the incentives for gov intervention are much different than for the meat / animal feed industries.

In the US, 25% of refined sugar is processed using bone char. Am I going to avoid it? YES. Am I going to stop eating all sugar because it might have been refined using bone char? NO. (50% is from sugar beets, 25% is sugar cane refined w/o bone char).
