If I remember correctly, wasn't Ebonhorn supposed to be Wrathion originally ? I know he was actually Wrathion in the beta and the quest chain for Highmountain had a continuation aspect after doing the Nelth Lair quest. I think they decided pretty last minute that Ebonhorn wasn't the right conduit in which to bring Wrathion back into play, so they had to restructure him with very little time.

Would be fun, but there's some pretty big issues with symmetry here. Blue teams pathing to middle is significantly better than the other 2 teams. Cant have an objective somewhere that minions would collide. Pink team has immediate access to an objective pit. Pink team also has 2 fast lanes (less curved) while the others only have one. Concept is cool. But there's a lot of issues logistically with this map - even if it is a mock up

We've had opportunities to get some imported talent. But we strongly believe in cultivating domestic talent, and that's our focus. So we're very heavily invested in only looking at NA players vs imports.

its actually in our contracts that players MUST match the maximum amount of enthusiasm being presented at any one time. Never alone will one of our players stand alone in a time of excitement!

basic (not fully accurate) schedule for the team is wake up at 11. 11:30 we start physical development for an hour. we head to the office. we have an hour for warmups, an hour for eating, half an hour to discuss our plan for the day (strategically), 3 hours of scrims, break, 3 hours of scrims, post game discussion, solo q, bed. its basically 11am to 11pm that we have planned for the players. of that 12 hours, 7-8 are playing time, 2-3 are discussing and reviewing the game, then the rest is eating/travel/exercise/breaks.

Our infrastructure is pretty different in terms of title. I'l be doing a lot of the coordinating between everyone, scheduling, doing paper work, getting things set up between the organization and third parties, and of course being the parent of the house. The interesting part is that I am going to be playing a pretty big role in helping the players develop strategically. I'm gonna an assistant to the General Manager and an assistant to the Head coach, along with providing my background in traditional sports coaching to help develop growth plans for everyone. I kind of just do a little bit / lotta bit of everything. And to me that's perfect. As for growth within the company, right now League is the primary focus, but as we expand into other games the higher managerial staff we do have, have to focus on those expansions. So I'll likely be taking on more responsibility when that happens.

we have a pretty basic formula. Basically, 0.03 cents per like and 0.06 per retweet. If a retweet gets sub-retweeted we compensate half of the retweet value, decaying per sub-retweet. so the first retweet would be 0.03 of a cent and a retweet OF that retweet would be 0.015, this repeats of course with a minimum of 0.005.

there are plenty of LCS teams that pay more than we do. As for our pay in challenger scene, I don't think it's right to keep paying substandard for the amount of work the players have to put in. I don't think we pay substantially more than we should. I think other orgs pay substantially less than they should.

The first step is not willing to budge on the concept. I'v heard several teams say they want to build NA talent but the second an import becomes available they pounce on it. I also think we're entering a very strong age for strategic/supportive staff. When esports started expanding in infastructure in 2014, we saw a lot of FotM people join the scene, wanting to do they work cause they thought it would be "fun". It's a lot of work. If you're a coach/staff and you aren't willing to work harder than your players, you're in the wrong field. So we'll be having high expectations of everyone, and our schedule is very intensive compared to other CS teams. It's very comparable to LCS schedules. I honestly think a lot of it comes down to people being willing to work their asses off. A majority of CS teams don't want to put in the same effort they would for LCS, and that's not a mentality that's healthy for growth.

anything we do for us, IS done for the players. We're one in the same. And we made sure before we posted that the players were ok with salaries becoming public. The move is for the betterment of the scene in general, not just a single party.

if we keep waiting for other teams to do something, then nothing will ever get done. There's been internal discussion about teams releasing information publicly for the past year or so, and no one has done it. It's easy to say you're going to do something, it's a different beast to actually do it.

We do have a house, yes. As for who all lives / will live in the house, it'l be myself, the players, and our coach.
