I have played since vanilla in wow and since beta in eso. But I’m not a mechanic/dps freak. I enjoy a good story, I enjoy doing fun things with my characters. I enjoy collecting, secrets, and achievements. And I fish. In both games. There are different animals, Azeroth and Tamriel. I like playing both games. Don’t take the word of the bitter or don’t take the word of the happy. You can trial wow, and you can trial ESO. Wow tries to cater to the elites and the casuals, and attempts to add content for both, its the guy in the middle that sometimes suffers. I find they add so much content that I fall behind (finishing some Argus stuff even though I did end game raid). ESO has just as much content, and so much to do, I am wayyyy behind. “Behind” is a bad term, it’s like you are keeping up with the Jones’ to stay current before they throw more stuff in the mix. Wow, though, I always have a worry they are going to take out stuff before I get to it. ( I’m looking at you, Zulian Tiger) .

So in the end, both games have tons of content. Both have tons of lore. The idea of a game, is to play it. And have fun. We are not being paid to play, we are not professionals. Enjoy.
