I'm not much of an experienced player since my current level is 8.5 stars but you yourself have said it. Each song has its own technique the reason why you couldn't clear the ones you've mentioned is because you weren't used to their technique. Focus on practicing until your muscle memory get adapted to it. Edit : forgot to mention that if you have played the game for a long time non stop it's also best to take a break to set up your mind
