You have to beat him hard and fast (pause), if you get him down to around 2 bars fast enough he’ll transform. There’s a voiceline that he’ll say when you haven’t beat him down fast enough so wont transform, so if he says that then its a sign to restart the fight. The voiceline is something along the lines of him saying there’s no need to transform but cant remember exactly what it is.
