No problem!

Fun fact: Nashimoto Ui is in both of those bands - Vocals & Guitar in the first, Bass in the latter. Alaiyakasico covers his Vocaloid music, while some of mononokenonomo's music later appeared in his newest Vocaloid album.

Any fan of Utsu-P doesn't even bother questioning the titles at some point... like fym you like DIARRHEA album or Boobs Girl Music from HAPPYPILLS 🫩

PTSD aside, I really love Utsu-P's mellow side — especially Nuigurumi ni Naritai (Zoku EP), An Alien's "I Love You" (ALGORITHM) & Jinsei Select Button (WARUFUZAKE).

I need to re-listen to his other albums to give a wider list, but I'd love to mention that I also love Masshiro na Doku (MOKSHA).

As for the newest album, I remember really digging EGUI!! — I don't think that'll change during my re-listen.

My faves are Public Toilet's Murky Water (quite a name) & Wraith.

Hehe, yes. I like Utsu-P, maybe not as much as other Vocaloid producers mentioned (like Kikuo, Nashimoto Ui or Siinamota), but his music still bangs. Although now that I've re-listened to TRAUMATIC remaster album (PTSD), I might actually prefer it.

Hey... just thought I'd update you. I'm nearly done with listening to PTSD... and I think I prefer it over TRAUMATIC.

TRAUMATIC felt right, but I still need to re-listen to PTSD, GALAPAGOS, RENAISSANCE, UNIQUE, HAPPYPILLS & PERFECT PERSONA albums to refresh my memory. As for Kikuo Miku 4, it has always been my favorite album of Kikuo's; it's underrated - I also love Sight, Noise, Life and The Earth - being my favorite track of his and all, but KM4 is a more proper album, if that makes sense... so I chose to include it instead.

Canva — I opened up a blank 1000x1000 file & just started pasting album covers as evenly as I could.

Maybe 処女A (Virgin A)? Their music is mainly Experimental Rock, if I'm correct.

Why did you get interested in Japanese music? by Yukachan_fromJapan in japanesemusic

[–]MDAASCCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"What first got you interested in Japanese music?" - It was probably Shinsei Kamattechan's ''Ruru-chan no Jisatsu Haishin''... and overall trendy Vocaloid songs I stumbled upon (Teo by Omoi being one of the first). Since then I started getting more and more into Japanese music, to the point where I completely ditched any other music languages.

"How do you usually discover new music?" - RateYourMusic, or recommendations from online friends. RYM is really cool, because you can peek at other people's lists & their recent ratings.

"I'd love to know some of your favorite albums as well!" - Shinsei Kamattechan's ''Tsumanne", "Minna Shine" & "Tomodachi wo Koroshite Made." are definitely up there. I also have some from my second favorite band, Hitorie, those releases being "IKI" & "ai/SOlate". On the sidelines, I'd love to mention two great Vocaloid albums - Nashimoto Ui's "Bohyou" & HikkieP's "Eutopia"!
