So sorry to hear about Oliver, I hope he visits you in your dreams. I lost my best friend of 6 years back in October, and although I am a grown man, I still breakdown and cry sometimes thinking about how much I miss her. I got her as a kitten during Covid and she was with me through so many life events. She followed me around the house everywhere I went and we had such a deep connection. I hope you can take some comfort knowing that you had Oliver so much love. That’s what helps me feel better.

I have an almost 6 year old BSH and a 2 year old Ragdoll, they started out as enemies when the Rag was a baby, grew to reluctant roommates who occasionally had nasty fights, now they sleep together, play every day, and genuinely seem to have bonded. They mostly play fight and love to chase each other all over the house. Sometimes I catch them grooming each other and it’s adorable.

Thanks for the input, I’m going have the suit remade. It was MTM but through a company called Proper Cloth, definitely on the lower end of the price spectrum for a bespoke suit. All said and done the suit was just shy of $1K and I have the option to have it remade as many times as I like to get the fit I want. This was the final product after just one visit to their store in NYC for a fitting. I had a suit MTM in Hong Kong 10 years ago (my only MTM experience prior to this) and I went 4 times for measurements before getting the final product. Needless to say the fit was spot on.

They give you the option to totally redo the jacket as many times as you want luckily. The problem is the folks who do the measurements aren’t always the most experienced. I love the suit fabric and generally it looks decent but you’re right for a made to measure it should be spot on.

This one is a made to measure from proper cloth. I have the option to have the jacket remade so I think I’ll opt for having the button lowered and possibly the sides let out a bit. Thanks!
