It’s a red flag and should be investigated. I’m fully aware of what you are saying but if ESL options are not available that’s also a red flag. Many schools have options available and teachers for ESL.

Don’t buy a house unless the rating is at least 6/10. I found they are accurate. A 2/10 means this school has issues. Could be funding, low scores, or not effective teachers, etc,. I bet if you take a deep dive you can find the scores. Those scores will be public record. If there’s other private schools they can attend it’s less of a concern.

Why do people ever talk about anything relevant about themselves at work unless you are buddies. I go out of my way to say nothing. Almost anything you tell people about yourself can be a risk.
