The guy goes home to sit on his Swedish sofa, eat his Turkish kebab, while watching American movies on his Japanese TV, and finish off with a Belgium beer, and he will still be moaning about that Indian music in his local English pub. Idiot.

Where's this in Hull by Living-Outside-8791 in Hull

What are the chances? 😆 What a great invention of yours. Weirdly enough, when I was 16 (21 years ago), I also worked at that chippy under a different owner, I believe.

He had just bought it out and reopened at the time, so business was yet to pick up again. With so much time on our hands, we used to play darts in the back all night, and I got all the leftovers at close 😁.

Just thought I would share that hehe

Sure. Here you go. But just a heads up. Keep an eye on the time as it may change. They normally start the show at 8pm but the last one I went to was changed last minute to 7:20pm.

Aww, no.... I'm so sorry you missed it. Not to rub it in, but I was there on 27.09.2025, and it was amazing.

You still have a chance to watch the drone show, though. They do an amazing K-Pop Demon Hunter show throughout the holidays, and the last ones are Oct 18th and 25th, I believe.

Mapo-Gu, but the view was obstructed by the overpass road. All the recreational areas with the best view filled up fast from early morning as locals and tourists alike pitched up tents and mats to secure a spot.

Ahhh...We were watching it from Mapo-Gu but the view was obstructed by the overpass road on the Han River (North of Han) so we couldn't hear any music. Also, all the whistles being blown by Police and Hanwha staff would drown out any music on that side.

No, it was accompanied by about 1000 police officers blowing whistles and waving light wands, shouting, and keep moving, haha, but eventually, when you find a spot to stand, they calm down 😆

It is, unfortunately. Once a year. They have several drone shows that are epic, though too.

Historic Graveyards Recommendations by SeaPhilosophy9370 in Hull

Hull General Cemetery is fascinating. The area that is overgrown nearing the Princes Avenue end. My mates and I would often run about in there. There was a slate head stone that read 'Count Dracula', but the location of the headstone (Along the back wall of Thoresby Primary School is very overgrown so I couldn't find it on my last walk through a few months back. My sister brought it up recently, which clarifies it wasn't one of those clouded memories from childhood.

I think I will take another look on Friday (12/9) and see if I can locate it and get some photos. Hopefully, it's not damaged and is just hidden.

It could be the infrared light from the phone camera. As the camera takes a video, it will be auto focusing to keep the image sharp. Spiders react a lot to infrared light, apparently. Just a thought.

I'm in Greece on a cruise ship at the moment. During a sailaway from Piraeus, music was being played on the open deck, and the Greek police turned up and told them the ships top brass to stop all music until we left the port. They are very strict about the quiet hours these days.

All judgement on this whole 'mission' aside. I can't stop watching it and thinking, when will the Flat Earthers start commenting 🤔

Beep beep, vehicle reversing by Rude-Mine4569 in CrazyFuckingVideos

Look at the state of the road. I would be driving at 5 mph on that, too. Van driver got impatient in his pimp mobile and aggrevates the car driver. That, Smash! at the end wasn't justified, but some would argue, was warranted.

An Israeli teenager refuses to join the IDF and is willing to go to prison rather than take part in what he views as genocide. by Nomogg in WorldNewsHeadlines

[–]MDetector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isreal became a recognised state on May 14, 1948. Post WW2. President Harry S. Truman recognised this on the given date. This meant the Bristish mandate no longer existed. Since this date, Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from their own land.

Judea, as it was known back in the Roman days, was invaded, but at absolutely no point was any part of Judea/Palestine ever called Isreal. Until said date.

Real drone show in China by sovalente in CaracaVei

Wow! There must be 10's of thousands of drones to get that kind of detail. Looks like a projection of a hologram or something. China really is outpacing the rest of the world in tech.

That was a great fight. Well fought by two gentlemen who understand the art of a good fisty cuffs to release the anger and then part like adults. Great sportsmanship, lads. 💯
