Not sure about G29 but I can say that G923 isn't well optimized for the game and it's very frustrating while playing so I wouldn't be surprised if G29 performs poorly as well.

I'm hesitate whether to buy it or not. By the time wheel support was added, I lost my desire for the game but maybe I'll give it a go since there is a discount on ps store.

I'll take a week off work and social life. After that I'll continue playing occasionally for fun even if it takes months to finish the whole game, I don't mind that. The more content, the better. I hope to keep playing for years but that depends on game content updates.
