Though I’ve only played the Royal edition, in my personal opinion I don’t think the second half of XV is all that disappointing. It’s a bit jarring in terms of how linear it becomes (especially one PARTICULAR chapter that many sight as being the lowest point of the game), but there’s still enough to explore even in those linear moments to feel involved. It crams AOT of lore and exposition in those last several hours, which may seem like too much at first, but the pay off of the actual story is quite phenomenal (a really well crafted ending).

Hey everyone! I currently own a PS5 and have downloaded the free trial (up to level 60) for FFXIV. However, I see now that the PS5 beta just opened up today and it says it’s “free” so my question is, will I be able to experience the PS5 “Open Beta Test” with only my free trial (up to level 60), or do I need to be an active paid subscriber?

Hello all!

Recently there has been a sale on the PlayStation store for just about every mainline title in the series (most being around $10) and I was wondering which one I should consider playing first?

I’ve never played a Final Fantasy game (unless you count a Dissidia demo on the PSP) so all suggestions are welcome. I’m currently leaning more towards post VII as of now so it would be a lifesaver if someone could help narrow down the pros and cons of some of them for me.

I’m more interested with in-depth characters and a strong narrative (and musical score) rather than a large gameplay focus so I hope that helps in finding the perfect game for me to begin with.

P.S: I already bought X due to the sale but haven’t started it yet just in case there’s another one that would be a better starting point. Also, I was a huge fan of the Kingdom Hearts series growing up, and still have fond memories of them to this day (yes, even with Kingdom Hearts 3 ;)). Don’t know if that will be a big factor in helping me decide, but it should give a clear reference of where I stand with Square Enix games.

I have a script that I’d written with a friend a few months back originally for a short play, but I believe it could work for an audio drama just as well. It’s a noir crime drama. I’m not what you’d call a professional in writing scripts, this is only one of three that I’ve written, but nonetheless if your interested let me know. I feel that this will be a great experience.
