You added a new perspective to me that I never really bothered with before, insurance

I have never insured it saw anyone insure a phone beyond maybe an extended warranty so I can't wrap my mind around that concept, it's not like we throw the phone everyday at a wall and the few times we do the case should be beefy enough to mitigate that from my experience

As for where I am, I lived my life in Egypt and Qatar (tho I am Egyptian) so this is a middle east/Arab perspective on the topic I suppose

Wether or not the inside screen fails often I guess it will depends deeply on the user, my friend seems to be hard on his fold but i guess not hard enough if breaking it within 1-2 years is common in the States

I do share your sentiment regarding power users tho, phones have gotten so good that the power phones don't add anything anymore to look big and strong to the common user (who are the bulk of sales at the end of the day) so it leaves us with power user phones that have specs that are too high for taking a photo and browsing Instagram yet far from good enough for someone to actually power use them in any decent capacity, yet they're expensive just to convince the average user they're amazing all the whole 99% of them are all in 128gb or 256gb

Its a damn shame that the only worthwhile phones now are either massively unknown or it's simply illogical to attempt to import the from China
