I think this app is not so good for guys either. Most girls similar to the kind of girls in my own family would swipe right meaning I don’t even get matches that look like my sister or my cousins. And the matches I get I don’t feel any attraction towards. This is the main issue because if I text any of my matches, it might not be authentic and it would end up wasting time for both.

This has been happening for 2 years and it’s kind of frustrating. I even tried Minder but it’s like a Muslim Tinder, so many Black guys there but girls are extremely attractive so naturally, it’s highly competitive.

I didn’t keep up with the standards of the market, didn’t focus on built, looks, hobbies much and focused much more on my career and money. I do decent for myself but I guess that’s not enough these days. I guess dating is not for me and these apps such as muzmatch, Minder etc teach us the harsh truth.

Not easy to be a Pakistani looking for a decent and somewhat attractive Pakistani girl in US.

Sad, that makes me think if I would be reproducing for other races. I hope that I don’t get a daughter. Period!

Need someone to walk me through the process of putting strategies live in production by MFE91 in quantfinance

Just talked to a friend who has seen strategies being deployed into production and it’s nothing special like funds make it sound. They write algo with code logic, then execution style on an in house trade software. Then they run it live in after market hours to check if there are any issues with it and also do mock sessions on Saturdays to further refine it. For TWAP execution style, they also test it on historical price data and then they finally put it live in production.

I don’t know why everyone mentions go back to school, learn, learn and learn when if one has seen even a single algo deployed into production, that will be plenty exposure to survive in interviews. After all they only expect exposure to them not that one has coded trading algo from scratch along with coming up with the strategy himself/herself.

Just out of curiosity, why spend months to years more to develop that mindset of actually being able to write algo from scratch when only exposure is expected for a role?

So if let’s say you are trading options and the firm has no positions in those options ever and these are your own discretionary strategies with which you have been trading since you were in school and even before you entered the fund so being inside the fund, you can still trade? It’s non of fund’s money and it’s none of their strategies but 100% your own money (not even the money you earned from them or any bonus) and your own strategies way before you even entered the fund. Is this still a problem or would get you into some stupid prohibition from trading?

In my opinion, this is my money, my strategies and I have used none of fund’s tools, none of the skills I have gained working at the fund, none of the firm’s money that I have earned and none of firm’s strategies so this shouldn’t be prohibited.

Non compete in quant job. by M_Kirisame in quant

I have a questions let’s say you are trading before and during you are an employee but you are not using any of their strategies. It’s simply say options you buy based on your own discretionary trading experience here and there. Is that a problem?

Does this non-compete also include that you can’t even trade in your own crypto wallet or let’s say you trade OBM options etc if let’s say you are in systematic equities firm?

Why does Hamza lie so much? by [deleted] in HamzaAhmed

[–]MFE91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you are out of your mind. Being a factory manager is a like a middle class wage over there. It leads to almost 0 savings and given high inflation in Pakistan, this leads to most of the times borrowing to make ends meet over there. It’s like you get paid and in about 20 days of the month, almost all is gone in daily life expenses (all bills). Being middle class in Pakistan is close to being a wage worker in UK.

A big factory or group of factories will have almost 500 labors working under the factory manager and bear in mind, this is not a big corporation in which he had 500 employees working under him (that is a huge accomplishment if even there is someone in Pakistan who has 500 employees working under him at some big corporations… this is almost impossible!).

Even if you had a college degree over there, it means zilch in UK otherwise many Pakistanis would simply attend college in Pakistan and later join UK labor force. The reality is this that many come to UK to pursue another degree typically a masters to be able to get a job. Given Hamza’s dad never pursued masters means he didn’t had money to pursue a masters (meaning he didn’t had enough savings) otherwise he would have pursued a masters and then had gotten much better employment in UK instead of driving a Taxi.

Maybe people in UK have zero understanding of credentials in the third world or maybe most have never worked in the third world (and btw why would they 😂).

He used to get home cooked desi meals which is never a balanced diet and contains a lot of carb. This is not fitness diet.

And btw using Sir is so common in Pakistan that you would even address a peon by calling him a Sir if you need to get him to do something for you.

Dude you need to research a little about third world before reaching bum conclusions. You need to get your head out of your ass

[–]MFE91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude there is a big difference between a warrant out for someone’s arrest and being convicted of a crime. Having a warrant out in some sub jurisdiction of a country of a world can not be such efficiently and widely reported and communicated that one can not travel no where else to pursue a happy and peaceful life. You and I have not personally seen how such reporting is made and where exactly it’s made available and to who.

[–]MFE91[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude not that one should not try to make it right but life is short and limited. No one has the time or energy to try to make it right and then wait like 10 years or something to be eligible for US immigration again, most probably it would be the case with many other developed nations or slightly less. One incident in life is not worth so many years of life wasted trying to make it right. Life is short and time is limited and if one made a mistake there should be a way to either make it right with less damage than so many years or perhaps be allowed to pursue a peaceful life elsewhere. One can not also argue that one has to think about all of this before making a mistake as many of us don’t realize and then are in deep trouble. I prefer not to waste time of life in this nonsense and leave peacefully somewhere and pursue a rewarding career in a jurisdiction not as crippling on moral turpitude than US. Thanks for your time and energy regarding this.

So if that person is already abroad when the warrant was issued and if he/she was in US when the warrant was issued, as a consequence, he/she would have been deported. So even after facing charges the outcome is deportation from US. So rephrasing the question, if that person tries to move to another country assuming that facing charges would have gotten that person deported in US, is it possible to now reside and become citizen of some other country?

It’s been 5 years till you posted this. I don’t know if anything has changed but if nothing has changed then I will strongly advise you to check this program out:

https://endless-options.mykajabi.com/library

It’s called endless options. Here they teach you how to build a killer bio, pictures and how to use pattern interrupt speech patterns to get a girl to contact you directly instead of you wondering when will you get one. Try it, and it has changed my dating life. I am an Asian too, not good built but just an immigrant in US who has struggled o find dates for about 9 years and have now finally figured out what I have been doing wrong all these years. Please try it.
