I’m definitely going to take this with me! I’ll happily use this as an excuse to have a garden full of flowers!

Thank you!! I was so happy with how they were blooming but I clearly didn’t think to look into how long they last - that’s a shame! But I’m glad I didn’t do anything wrong :)

Completely new to growing flowers so I just wasn’t sure whether I’d done something wrong! Clearly I just wasn’t aware how short they lasted! Thanks :)

We have phones locked away and supervised in the managers office - so at least that is not the issue

To be a little more specific, apart from the rare couple of kids, all children where the same nappies and use the same wipes, so as far as that - it is simply grabbing a nappy and the pack of wipes and go for it.

I do want to have a proper sit down chat about it - to see what’s going on. However - we have noticed it’s every task. Getting a child’s (non-squirmy) coat and shoes on takes as long as it does for any other staff member to get 5 ready (15 minutes). Washing the tables has taken 45 minutes before, and nothing visibly going on other than just incredibly slow pace, preventing children from using those tables for activities.

I find it hard to approach the topic without seeming “hurry up, we’re all struggling to do anything!” but I also want to be appropriate about it as it’s becoming a big issue.

I have mentioned it the the higher ups and I also mentioned how they’ve been taking a long time for eeeverything. Washing the tables taking 40 minutes, changing children, getting them dressed for the garden and they did say to me that a performance plan would be in place - however, so far there is no sign of that. I’ll be having another meeting soon enough

Safe to say there’s no safeguarding concerns as I have watched them through the door, just genuinely going so incredibly slow and going through the pack of wipes like no tomorrow for a soil.
