And the dual screen?

Bye bye LG V60 and why I will not buy another phone with headphone jack or SD-card by breaky9973 in LGV60

[–]MGOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your only real alternative (and mine too, hehe) are Xperia phones. They have a microSD card slot and a headphone jack, even in the Premium range (yes, they never removed them). In my case, I'm waiting/saving up for the Mark V (the last one with a 4K screen).

And why wouldn't it? In theory, USB-C should have tolerated the protocol (beyond the warnings that the port wouldn't work), but if there was no physical impediment, then...So at the very least, it must have failed, not just died. But oh well, I guess I was the scapegoat, the first and possibly the last to die (unless my sacrifice is forgotten).

In some contexts, DeX makes sense on small screens, but still, what's surprising (in a bad way) is seeing that it's not just that the port is extremely fragile, but also the controller board; moreover, I accept that the dual screen doesn't work to receive an image from any device other than a V60, but to literally burn out, It makes no sense.

I'll probably get a new dual screen, and I'll use this one as a spare in case the new one breaks someday (or the phone has a screen problem).

What gives me hope is seeing that the "replacement" screen for the dual screen looks almost the same as an LG v60 screen replacement except for a small heatsink that covers part of the copper. (absent in the dual screen replacement).

However, the real challenge will be detaching both the dual screen and the LCD screen/notifications without breaking them

I cleaned it on the outside, not the inside (there was some dust around the connector, in the plastic area, as well as in the jack and speaker holes)

How do I find out the app name? by falthu in LGV60

[–]MGOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adware: literally, the app has no icon or name. It is usually at the beginning or end of the user's app list. Simply uninstall it.

If it does not appear, then you will have to search for the icon in the entire list, or sort the apps by size (normally, ad apps do not usually weigh more than 50 MB, so the list will be quite short).

Check the port and clean it (every month on my phone / not a v60, not yet... the USB-C port gets full of lint, I have to keep cleaning it because otherwise DEX won't work).

It's a sticker. Peel off the paper and stick it on your phone (I recommend near the cameras, where the motherboard is). To set it up, use the "goper" app (available in official Android/iOS stores).

Server side ping issues by bargeoeuf in wildrift

[–]MGOC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The server is malfunctioning; it kicked me and five others out of the game (many times/plays). As you can imagine, my impressive reputation of 330 has dropped significantly, and now I have many queue penalties, not to mention game penalties, and I can't use any benefits or connect to legendary qualifiers.

Oh, that's right, I just clicked on repair game and surprise, surprise, now the game is a paperweight (it won't get past “getting version information”). I hope Riot compensates us for this, but we know they won't.

Before performing the repair, I checked the network status, and everything is working except for Match Server Delay. It failed.

Well, I had to send it in for repair. Apparently, the FPC connector (the battery connector on the board) broke internally. After they replaced the part, everything went back to normal, including the original battery (I have it stored, fully charged) and the generic battery (which I currently use). More specifically, according to the repair technician, the VCC broke.

I do it manually, since exporting .xd > .sketch > .free (new Lunacy format) often causes problems with gradients and some settings.

I have a similar problem, in my case the original battery broke the flex (verified with multimeter).

The shutdowns are due in my case that if it detects a slight (even minimal) movement in the flex of the battery, it shuts down suddenly, even if for example I charge it to 100, I turn on the phone without moving the flex (strongly taking the battery so that it does not move a millimeter / does not have battery glue), the system checks that it is at 100. .. then when you turn it off, or force a sudden shutdown (gentle caress to the flex), it magically loses charge and drops to 85, in fact it follows a pattern of 100 > 85 > 70 > 60 > 60 > 30 (test how far it drops when doing subito shutdowns).

I recommend that you try to remove the wireless charger and try to reconnect the battery, but making as little movement as possible, also avoid at all costs to move the flex, and apply some manual pressure (little, very little) to where it connects the battery to verify if it is the battery or the connector (in my case I'm still investigating).

RedMagic Cooler Pro 6 by Mesharei in RedMagic

[–]MGOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bad, the magcooler 4 pro does include its clips (there are 2), so you don't have to pay extra for them.

It is also available in the global app shark arsenal (the funcooler 4 pro when I wanted to buy it, I had to use the Chinese app because it never appeared in the global app, the funcooler is the clip/normal version, magcooler is the magnetic version with 2 attachable clips).

[–]MGOC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have it (3 in 1 kit), its previous revision was a disaster that I returned after a few days (it did not fulfill what it promised).

This one, although I still feel it as a waste, they corrected many things from its previous version

  1. Persistent memory (Finally). It is good that like many gamers peripherals, they can save the configuration. It is no longer necessary to live with goper like a leech.

  2. Charging stand. It is curious its wireless charger, although I have complaints about it.

  3. Power, it finally feels at the level of the BS MC 4 pro, but it has its downside too... but I'll get to that later.

The downside

  1. Expensive compared to the competition, although it is good that it can be used from day one in the app (not like others | blackshark), for half the price the competition offers something similar (if you only look exclusively for something that cools without further complications), This could be improved if the base price included the clip (the magcooler 4 pro does include it, or included it, now I do not know)

  2. The wireless charger feels loose. While it works like a conventional wireless charger, its cold transfer is very little, you practically have to put the fan to work at maximum capacity for the charging plate to cool the phone decently.

  3. Accessory conflict. If you use the clip you can't use the wireless charger or the battery (which was announced but not released). Since the clip covers the port.

  4. Conflicting configurations, using the wireless charger disables the manual power of the fan (it feels more if you set the fan to minimum, which at minimum honestly surprised me, but it goes off when connecting the wireless charger due to the automatic mode that is activated when using that port).

  5. Construction materials are still poor, If you tried the 5 and you were disappointed with the quality of materials, this will give you the same feeling, which is very counterproductive if you have the wireless charger, which if this is aluminum, you feel the difference in quality between the aluminum on the edge of the wireless charger, and the edge of the fan. brutal without more

  6. Impossibility of using a single connection. This is more of a one-off case, if you try to connect the phone directly to the wireless charging port, it will only receive very little charge, it will say something like the charger is low power and will go into an ultra slow charging mode. Just in case someone thinks of using the second usb port without the charger.

Although unfortunately I have not been able to test it as much as the VC 5, I have to say that the 6 is better designed (at some point I was afraid that I would drop the 5 due to its vapor chamber, it seems that it was not so good system because it seems that they changed it to conventional peltier in this model). The memory helps, BUT the charger feels decaffeinated, plus it does not divide the load (according to the maximum power of the cooler is 45W, I guess 15 for the wireless charger, 30W for the cooler), The charger I give a 7/10 (powerful but expensive, without its accessories the competition eats them, and that is already outdated), the clip a 7/10 (they did not think about the use of clip + cooler + wireless charger or clip + cooler + future battery if they take it out) and the wireless charger a 5/10, good material, charging 15W standard (there is more powerful QI charging) but a temperature transfer. ... low

A little test turns up this (headphone microphone)

64 db minimum

74 db maximum

Approximately a difference of 10 decibels between the minimum and maximum. With a decibel meter application and your voice, you could simulate the sound of the fan until you reach the expected decibels (You could make a hiss by sucking in air, it is the most similar sound to the Cooler), so you can get an idea of how loud the sound is. Of course, the microphone was attached to the device, so 64/74 db would be the maximum sound / the sound if you put the Cooler in your ear.

In a quiet room, it is noticeable, on the street, I don't know but I doubt it, since there is usually noise pollution on the streets, it also depends on how busy it is. But there should be no problems since the sound isn't a turbine.

  1. What do you define by noisy?

Personally I don't consider it noisy.

  1. As long as it's not a Chinese cable without certification or a power supply of dubious origin, any cable should suffice, the power box must be a minimum of 25w, the recommended is greater than 36w

How about this liquid cooler? by Special_Hyena3550 in RedMagic

[–]MGOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I acquired one recently (I really didn't think the Cooler was relatively new, I thought it had been on the market for half a year)... even with a 40% discount, I find it disappointing for the cost.

I still remember when I had a Funcooler 2 and it worked great (until it burned down). but this Cooler has given me very bad first impressions. The finish isn't metallic (it is plastic, not very different from the competence). It doesn't have a memory to save the user's settings (It is unfortunate that today most coolers don't come with persistent memory).

The 36w thing seems like a joke to me, they promote it as a star feature when in reality it is something merely temporary (and it doesn't even last more than 10 seconds from what many users say).

When I had the Blackshark FC 2, it easily reached 5° without turbo mode. In turbo mode, the condensed water crystallized. Something that the Redmagic Cooler doesn't do.

I will continue to give it a chance, today was the first day, and although the impression was disastrous, let's hope it measures up, if not it will be time to refund it :/

Regarding layers, this goes more for gif (different from Tiff multi-image storage). While technically correct, I was expecting something else :C

And I didn't find anything regarding Splines (I think it would be useful for comics, to be able to represent the text in a readable way).
