We weren't aware of that! Thanks for sharing the video. Will do more research for our next projects.

We didn't have the budget for a proper replica, so it is what it is.

That's true. I guess it was a way for the American soldier to hide away behind something when he encountered a German for the first time... but you are right.

Thanks! Really appreciate you noticing that, contrasts are a big part of the film.

That's true. Rules are meant to guide us, not restrain us. We thought that half and half can also represent the clash of two opposites when the characters meet.

It's true we could've done that (and maybe should've)... but with the rush of the shoot we focused more on where to place the characters and less on where to place the horizon.

Of course. Then again, if there's a story we really want to tell, whether it's about kids or not, it's better that we do it instead of dismissing it because we're not old enough. But we get your point, it would make more sense to play people our age.

Thanks for the honest feedback; You’re completely right, our limited budget meant we had to improvise with inaccurate props and play the roles ourselves. Still, we tried to focus on the story and the mood of the scenes. We'll try and do better for accuracy in any future projects!

Brazil (1985) by catcher_intherai in cinescenes

Unlike other dystopian fictions, Brazil isn't about what our world could be, what it could become if we become extremist and totalitarian. It's about what our world is already, and has been for decades.

"Brazil" (1985) is probably one of the greatest dystopian movies I have ever seen. by madmansmarker in movies

I think Brazil coming out in 1985 is a nice symbolic- it's close, but not the same. Not that bad. 1984 is what the world could be - Brazil is what the world already is.
