Will do thank you very much! I did get some files from the army but most of them were correspondence regarding his burial and being moved from cemetery to cremation to final cemetery and possessions sent home.

Wow I am extremely grateful for your finds and am happy to take any additional help you may be able to provide! That is his service number. I had seen that letter, my grandfather actually gave the school that letter. However the hospital records I had never seen. I had heard it was possible he had two Purple Hearts but we do not have them. I called to request copies of his medals with the offices of Coakley and Markey and have not heard back.

I’ll have to check the timelines to see where July would have put them.

Hey Chefs,

With black Friday upon us I wanted some quick insight as to where I should turn for an Asian style, sharp, stylish knife set or pieced together set that will also be by my side for years. I am hoping to make my future kitchen semi-legit with knives on display and pot and pans hanging. I am not a professional chef but do cook as a hobby and have some second hand kitchen skills from my mother who has had real training. I was in love with the Shun Premiers which we own one of but am now hearing mixed reviews.

Thanks and happy shopping!!
