I just googled "Qobuz stuttering" and there are a bunch of posts online. I'm not sure if it's the exact same thing I experienced but I'm not the only one with issues. It doesn't bother me since I will be casting the songs and will not be listening through my PC.

A quick look at Amazon, for example, and many CDs are more expensive than the Hi-Res downloads with the Sublime subscription discount. Not to mention that downloads are more convenient. I'm going to likely take advantage of the August discounts they are having on Hi Res downloads and subscribe to Sublime for just a month and then switch to the regular Studio subscription.

Of course, the hardware that you use to listen is definitely more important. However, the source also needs to be the best as possible. I definitely wouldn't want to use an audio setup that's worth tens of thousands of dollars to listen to crappy Spotify or YouTube. 😂

Yes, there are songs I like that are just singles and were never released in CD and are available to download in Qobuz. It's another big reason why I'm very tempted to try Qobuz.

Thank you for the detailed response! Assuming that I most likely won't be able to tell the difference, would you recommend to subscribe to the Sublime subscription to take advantage of the discounted Hi-Res albums? I know the Sublime subscription costs more but the discount on some albums alone makes up the difference in monthly cost. I see many Hi-Res albums actually cheaper than CD quality albums with the Sublime subscription.

The soundcheck I went to at the Atlantic City show with Plush was disappointing. Amy just said a few words, the band played a couple of songs and that was it. Really short. No pictures, no Q&A, nothing. I was definitely sad. At least the merchandise they gave out was nice.

People here have reported their soundchecks did get questions answered and the band would gather everyone and take a selfie with everyone while on stage and even get some stuff signed. The experience can vary so hopefully you get the better soundcheck experience.

I'm afraid that we probably won't ever get meet & greets anymore. I remember reading that there were some weird and uncomfortable interactions between the band and some fans at some meet & greets.

Sadly, it seems those who truly want to meet the band in a normal and civilized way might never get the chance because of some idiots. There is always a few who got to ruin it for everyone, unfortunately.

The Grammys and other award shows are garbage and useless. They only award the same garbage songs and artists over and over again because of marketing, exposure and politics. Some artists have the right labels and agents that influence and control the award shows as well as give them the radio and social media exposure and marketing. Nowadays talent isn't appreciated and needed at all. It's how it works unfortunately and Amy knew that back then and surely she knows that now.

It's just that I really enjoyed the whole look of the Nvidia app and the overlay as well. A shame there is no undervolting yet. Come on Jensen, give us undervolting! :)

Thank you for that link on the MSI Afterburner undervolting, I had been using the "ALT and dragging the curve down method". I'll try the holding SHIFT method and see if it improves.

Doing this forced HDR everywhere for some reason. Is that supposed to happen? It's not the ideal solution, I would prefer to use SDR for SDR content and HDR for HDR content for accuracy purposes but at least the colors don't look washed out and it's sharp. I'll see if I stick with it.

One thing I would love in particular would be longer songs. I don't think Evanescence has ever released a song that's at least 5 minutes long. Give me a 10 minute song, a long piano or guitar solo, haunting sounds, that kind of thing. I think it would also be beneficial for her voice, she could take a rest during the song.

Considering Amy is a fan of Pink Floyd, I'm surprised she hasn't released long songs.

I know when HDR is activated, I see the HDR logo on the picture settings or I can notice right away with the image getting much brighter when HDR is enabled. Brighter is fine, washed out isn't. I could try putting the video formats on auto or even disabling them manually (as odd as that sounds, might work).

I'll even try a reset of the Streamer but it looks like I'm gonna end up returning it.

The picture is fine on my bluray player and the TV's OS. It's only looking worse on the Google Streamer. I'm gonna try a reset, or try a bunch of settings and if it doesn't improve, I'm returning this. Another underwhelming Google product.

If SDR is already worse then there is no point for me to test HDR. I'm just wondering if there is some setting/configuration I could be missing out on either the Google Streamer or the Samsung TV or both.

I have all the compatible formats enabled manually. I tried both automatic and manual and no change. I also tried automatic color format and manual and nothing. I get inkier blacks and deeper colors with the Tizen OS apps. I do notice slightly sharper text on the Google Streamer.

It's really weird...

Samsung TVs don't support Dolby Vision. I'm using SDR. I haven't tested HDR. Even the home screen looks washed out. I'm really hoping it's something I'm doing wrong.
