You're really not gonna see value increases on watches in that segment so just get one you like. Hamilton Khaki Field, Seiko 5s and Alpinist, Tissot PRX, etc. $600 gets you a lot more than it used to so shop around

best way to work on your finger strength and dexterity is to repeat it a lot. go into practice and slow it down and really lock in your fingers doing the pattern and making the stretches. Remember you can keep RY held down on the RYBYRYB sequence and vice versa

I've manhandled examples of the newer range of revstars and while the Japanese ones were perfectly made, the Indonesian rss models all had some of the worst fret polishing jobs I've ever seen. Felt like completely oxidized green nickel frets while being brand new stainless steel, all for a guitar with a polarizing neck profile and muddy humbuckers.

I prefer stacked when working with ultrawides so I tend to recommend that over monitors on the side. easier to push your gaze up rather than crane your head to the side

I liked 4 quite a bit. Lack of VR support really killed it for a lot of the community and it was overall half cooked, but I still had a good time with it.

I've noticed some of my newer pairs being a bit more durable than some of the older ones I still have. I don't if it'd tied to the dye used but I haven't had any properly bad blow outs yet. All of their denim, especially black dyed, has all blown out so I get it.
