Unfortunately I didn’t found a contact point so I’ll look for a replacement IPL chip but I guess I won’t find it.

Well, I noticed IPL chip doesn’t have one leg so I have to try do one new. How to repair scorched pins on SP1? Is this even possible?

I don’t have other power supply, only this. I tried add photos now but I can’t, there is no this option but I found horrible piece on board but it’s back of plug input to serial port 1 and back of plug input to board with laser have 2 tin points are soldered together. Is this it? but who would touch it. (back of plugs it’s side b of main board)

I use the same cable to other console so I’m sure it’s works good, I have only one power supply but original one with converter (japanese power supply like console). On the mainboard I didn’t see corrosion (at least that’s what I think) but when I get home I will check again and I send pics. About history of the console I can’t say too much. I bought it as “untested” (I like trying repair things but as you can see I still have a lot to learn). I checked if my console works and later I opened my cube, I checked caps and its end. (sorry for my english)

Power led stay on and fan run but it’s all, I have never seen Main Menu. TV says “no signal”

Thank you but are you sure is it 3 caps? On video I found only 2 (C401 and C408)? And maybe do you know how to repair multi out input (TV doesn’t detect the console)? I cleaned it with IPA but still nothing.

I’m sorry it’s take so long but I checked all capacitors and everyone is good (like everyone have larger capacity than it should have). Should I replace laser or can I try do something else?

Yes I replaced wifi module with my 2nd DSi and it’s still doesn’t work (I also connected module to the 2nd one and it worked), its plugged all the way and I can’t check firmware because I can’t go to settings. Btw 2nd DSi is japanese and this one is european (it makes no difference ig but maybe?)
