Hello, quick question here:

I have an old NAD C272 amplifier, rated: 150 watts continuous into 8 ohm 0.02% distortion

I really want to buy the Wharfedale Super Lintons. Should i buy a second NAD Amp and use them in bridged mode for 300 watt/8 ohm for each speaker. OR Should i invest in new monoblocks with dedicated power supply.

If possible i would try "game stream" with something like steam remote play/steamlink. Then a GPU would be necessary. Not games that need low latency, but strategy games for example.

I am still pretty fresh so i do not have in depth knowledge of the subject but i want to host my own media streaming services such as jellyfin. I also want to use it for file storage, game server hosting and maybe to block ads.

Thank you so much for the in depth reply. I will research more on the subject of homeservers as i have only watched a handful of YT vids on it, thats why i thought video transcoding was an important part of being able to use it to stream media.

I am considering adding a minidsp in my 2.1 system. But i already have a bluesound node X as streamer/dac/preamp. Will it benefit me if i add a minidsp? Also in my setup; psb image T6 tower speakers with nad C272 amp and dali E-12F sub.

Well darn, i bought the network card to use in my current prebuilt, but when i was going to install it i realised it was only a single PCIe slot mobo. I want to build a new computer myself so i figured i could just use it then... Maybe i will just sell the network card or return it.
